Ishukone-Raata Enforcement Directive [I-RED] - The Star Fraction
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Ishuk-Raata Enforcement Directive Forward Command Ishukone Watch Assembly Plant - Malkalen III, Lonetrek
It is often the case, that political and military forces bring organizations into a mutually hostile posture when they might otherwise have little to do with one another. The Ishukone Corporation has usually deployed its forces outside of State jurisdiction only in limited theaters, under restricted circumstances. I-RED has been, in this respect, uncommon: Enforcement forces have been deployed to distant ends of New Eden for some time, and have worked to secure Ishukone's interest beyond the normal reach of the State.
As part of our work under CVA securing State interests in Providence, we came into conflict with the Star Fraction, and have remained on hostile terms since. However, our own deployment orders have changed, as have our orders with regards to CVA. Under our current deployment, I-RED's status towards many of CVA's combatants is no longer existentially hostile, and Ishukone's tactical bureau has re-examined many of our operating orders.
With this new security arrangement, we have been approached by the Star Fraction, and have been asked to re-evaluate our hostile posture towards their organization. After due consideration by Ishukone's board, Ishukone-Raata High Command has been advised that re-setting our standings towards Star Fraction is acceptable, and we are therefore ending our hostile status. Star Fraction leadership has indicated a desire to work under mutually neutral standings, and we share their interest in encouraging peaceful commerce outside of the normal State and CONCORD purview.
Further questions may be directed towards Ishukone-Raata diplomatic corps at any Ishukone comms node, or to myself directly

For our part the Free Captains of the Star Fraction recognize that political alignments change and past animosity however rightfully declared must sometimes be revised in the light of new understandings and fresh perspectives.
As executor Revenant correctly indicates, the source of hostilities between Ishuk-Raata Enforcement Directive and the Star Fraction may be laid fully at the door of CVA-era standings enclosurism in Providence and while we certainly regret little of past decisions in this matter, we would be unwise to forgo the wisdom of diplomatic and commercial progression where matters of confrontation are voided by the natural evolution of public events.
In the last year following our assassination of Executor Revenent at Malkalen in demonstration of our discontent with Ishuk-Raata positions and policies regarding CVA slavery in Providence, many changes have come and passed.
Ishuk-Raata have learned for themselves firsthand the treachery of Imperialist Amarrian crusaders and taken progressive steps to free themselves from the yolk of memetic serfdom enforced on the ôholdersö of that benighted region and further asserted more general principles of sovereign individualist separation from cloying nationalist sentiment across New Eden.
The Star Fraction movement is and always will be an active and vigorous advocate of change and individual freedom but it is wise to understand that not all change needs come at the barrel of a gun. Sometimes persuasion, influence, commerce and simple conversation can yield great rewards and mutually-profitable outcomes. A revolutionary must be a persuader as well as a fighter.
So today I will salute an Ishuk-Raata that has severed its bonds to slavery and imperialism, that has seen itself rise past tawdry nationalism to consider itself a strong independent sovereign entity in its own right, free to make its own decisions and seek prosperity amongst the stars.
It is my pleasure to report that the open council of the Free Captains voted in majority to restore neutral standings to Ishuk-Raata Enforcement directive and jointly affirm the re-establishment of this status by formal public announcement. It is our hope that guided by the example of the great Otro Gariushi, Ishuk-Raata Enforcement Directive will take up the cause of freedom and prosperity and prove themselves an influential and powerful foe to those who would deny the dignity of independence and liberation to all the peoples of New Eden.
Today the Fraction stands with hands outstretched to make peace, with eyes turned upward to a brighter future, with our hearts open and mind resolved on the trials and challenges to come.
Further questions may of course be directed to any Free Captain with a mind to speak on such matters.

I can't say I support this decision per se, but mutually neutral standings is not a vote of support for Star Fraction's ideologies, and with as many enemies as I-RED finds itself with lately due to its admirable unwillingness to sacrifice its morals for Amarrian coin, I can't say I blame you for wanting less. ----- Andreus Ixiris CEO, Mixed Metaphor

Thank you for this John. I am pleased that you have made a decision that takes my people out of the hand of the theologians and slipped them from under the sights of the anarchists.
I would not want to be you and make the decisions you have to make. But on behalf of the Zaibatsu, I can and happily say "well done".

Neutrality... This is a statement of neutral standings. Not a Non-Aggression Pact, not an alliance, but a simple reset of standings toward a old foe.
Be appalled, be angered, but understand this.. Ishukone-Raata conducts business within our guidelines given to us, to ensure prosperity for Ishukone. When a organization like the Star Fraction takes the time to engage in a agreement in a respectful manner with a offer of peace, and not restricting free and open trade. We welcome the opportunity to do what this cluster lacks, the ability to put the past behind them, and look to a prosperous diplomatic future.
Our decisions are dictated only by the Ishukone Corporation, and by no-one else.

Or perhaps the Star Fraction has evolved and embraced a new set of ideals for the benefit of both their organization and the inhabitants of Placid. Then again, this isn't a concept I would expect of someone of your narrow-mindedness to grasp.
On any note, I am glad to see the barriers of peace and prosperity be destroyed in order to promote better commercial opportunities for everyone within the Placid region.

Ishukone-Raata Enforcement Directive and The Star Fraction have decided it's in their interests, as well as the interests of the region, to come to an understanding and reset each other as neutral.
There you go Lyn, can you grasp the notion now that it's boiled down to the basics for you?
Glad I could help, no thanks necessary,

Now that I've regained my composure...
Are not the Free Captains opposed to all who support the State, or should we say any organized State actors? Is not Ishukone one of the largest Megacorporations in the entire cluster? One that, according to the free captains, probably has millions of 'wage slaves' working for it under terrible conditions, etc etc ad infinitum? That it's former CEO was more liberal and that Ishukone could arguably be called one of the "good" Megacorps I think would matter little to your morals on these issues.

Fair enough Revenent-haan, however mutual statements of neutrality between two entities which profess to operate a policy of not engaging neutrals (NRDS) is effectively a statement of non-aggression.
I congratulate you on your diplomatic efforts, but do not forget The Star Fraction's past. They have more than once turned their energies towards the supporters of the State's corporations whenever we begin to demonstrate unity of effort. The Star Fraction is not a neutral whose activities do not warrant vigilance.

Dear Miss. xxx, you insult people's intelligence with such.. finesse, that I'm quite impressed. I do not speak for KOTMC nor do I think I ever have to, but let me try and underline what I believe the target for your unwarranted insult meant;
Star Fraction is very fond of insuring that people always know of their anti-governmental ideals and other viewpoints. As such it would appear bizarre to some that you seem willing to slack - for lack of a better term - on these principles by setting I-RED, a dedicated pro-Ishukone and pro-State - a governmented nation, that is - back to neutral.
To some it simply makes no sense to return to 'do not fire upon unless provoked' status when the entity in question clearly don't share your ideals and in fact, hold to ideals that you have stated clearly that you, as an organization, do not like.
Of course, feel free to ignore my words here in favor of more insults or belittlement if you feel so inclined.
Yours, Jesmine Kyriel, Colonial Administrator

People are very eager to lecture us on our morals I find. But you will understand that such things are taken with a very liberal pinch of salt when coming from representatives of slave-owning hegenomies who have everything to lose from the cooperation of independent-minded technologists and freespace activists in New Eden.
Ishukone is often remembered as the father of capsuleer technology in the star cluster. They commercially-developed Insorum and opposed the statist kneejerk policies of Tibus Heth. Under Garushi they took a great step forwards from the past of hierarchy and statism and we see there the seeds of rebellion that need be watered with the dreams of free spirits and idealists on the frontier.

If the action of those who fight for the state are any inclination as to what the State stands for anymore... Well, look at our killboard lately.
Now, throw your arms up in flabbergast folks. The State has started to smell lately. Like something that was about to ripen into something sweet and beautiful to the eyes but somehow started to rot due to sudden changes of climate.
Ishukone despite my lack of empathy for the Ishukone corporation. despite my lack of love for any Nation anymore. You gotta hand it to at least one group of people who take a more progressive stance on Caldari issues.
I would only hope that the State gets it's **** together and shakes off the shackles of collectivist tyranny. What do I know? What do I really care?
Your capsuleers anyhow. Free to do as you choose. I can think of far better things to do than worry about the directives of the CEP or Tibus Heth the lucky **** forklift operator who fell into his job through lucky happenstance.
I'd love to give more of an ecclesiastical reply or statement here but the Caldari State is broken, The Gallente Federation is broken.
Burning people alive and the masses cheer? Suicide runs that kill countless civilians? Denying supposed rights to an entire ethnic group, for having the misfortune of being forced into Concord jurisdiction?
The list goes on for both the Gallente and Caldari. Point I'm making is that this militia mess is getting old and boring. Your doing no good for either of your respective tyrants, and as I can point out...
You look rather childish doing it.

Neutral standing signifies neither support nor opposition and is intended to benefit causes that are in the interest of SF and I-RED as described in the original statements.
Your questioning of how genuine intentions of the Fraction are makes me smile though. Do you have a conspiracy theory worked out?

Not in the slightest. Fractionists are always up-front about their goals to the point of nausea. The misguided intentions of your terrorist group are always quite genuine.
It's just that for some of us who can't be bothered to keep the ever-changing swirls of who is in bed with who these days, the pairing does seem a bit odd.
And no one is truly 'neutral,' dear. Not shooting someone is just a loud a statement as shooting them. Not shooting someone you've shot, often, in the past, is such a statement.

That is a rather strained point to be honest. I believe concord categorize my security rating as rather worse than that and I am the CEO of one of the oldest neutral respecting NRDS entities in New Eden. How did I earn this terrible stain? Shooting -10 hostiles in lowsec in full support of Fraction Rules of Engagement.
