So what's the deal with FOF missiles? I get sensor dampened by Serpentis rats or ECM'd by the Guristas... Surely I should load some FOF missiles, right? That's what everyone thinks... at first. Noawadays we all know FOF missiles are dung and if you don't have the skill at 5 they'll even do gimp damage - to that large collidable object it has decided is a major threat. Seriously CCP fix FOF missiles, we don't like them shooting structures and they were put in the game for a reason, right? So make them worth more metal scraps please.
Now I also have lots of crazy ideas, some of which should get rejected immediately, and others that should get a look at. Obviously I have no idea what falls under which category, that's all up to you (and maybe CCP) to decide.
One of these ideas is the Space Taxi idea... allow people to transport capsules in their ships, maybe even have room for multiple capsules - an industrial might be able to carry extra passengers whereas frigates might have one or even zero slots for capsules. Or maybe it should be cargo dependant, but that's a stupid idea. You wouldn't put live cows in your cargo.
But what if you could co-pilot a ship? That would be pretty cool. Finally a possibility for SOMEONE ELSE to fraps the fight in high detail while the other gun monkey gets to run his warez at low-quality, and if god forbid he encounters problems, the co-pilot could step in (if he has been granted permissions for such). So perhaps you'll grant your co-pilot the ability to target ships for you, or you'll grant him the ability to navigate for you, or maybe even activate guns for you, overload, switch ammo, full control? Who cares, it'd be awesome to have the possibility, besides, double pod kill, nice. This might even require a module, but not necessarily, this would also open up a new market for a destroyer or cruiser (preferably destroyer, since destroyers aren't used enough, not to mention how awesome it would be for passengers to see the bus driver rˇape a dramiel on the way to school) sized vessel that can carry like 5 pods but can align and accelerate quite fast, better make it expensive - and yellow in color.
And how about a module that transforms a higher powered module slot into a lower powered module slot? Obviously to make it less overpowered it would have to use like 200 CPU, but still, how nice for shield tankers to drop a utility slot for a warp disruptor, or an armor tanker to drop a medium slot for a damage mod? Pretty cool, although with such a high CPU requirement, I wonder who would ever use it... but again, 100mn microwarpdrives have been fit to cruisers and BC's before, and that seems to work.
This one's definitely going in the bin, but how about buffing low-sec a bit? Yeah I know what you're thinking, bad idea, it's not going to work, bla bla bla - and you're right! We could split space up so that only T1 vessels are allowed in high-sec (no faction), then we could ban T3's from low-sec (and make motherships more expensive while making carriers more fragile so that capitals can stop being op gods in lowsec)... what are we left with? T2 and faction ships have to go back to lowsec. Oh yeah, and make the missions and rats there more rewarding, maybe the mining too, make the mining there a lot better. Result: More people who struggle to survive in lowsec will actually break even, and maybe even profit. Side effect: High-sec carebears will cry because they can't bring basilisks to level 4's anymore. Basilisks and Golems.
Do I have more ideas? Yes. I do indeed. I do however have kitchen duty tonight and have got to run and prepare a some steak. Also I shouldn't give everything up so easily, or CCP will never hire me. I'm surprised I didn't get hired for that internship, since I live nearby and will probably be studying software engineering next semester. Oh, right, the steak.

Space taxi idea -- See CCP's idea to allow you the ability to move PLEX.
Co-pilot a ship -- Doesn't that ruin the story line of "we are genetically modified and engineered to be able to do everything solo". That sounds like a downgrade.
Implants/Skills?
Limit/Control ships in certain systems. Great. Hey let's also allow bombs in Hisec
I was told my signature was too inappropriate, isn't this game rated T or something?

One they only get the doughtnuts for upper staff two it's shows a lack of ingenuity and the ability to do things on your own! 8p I should say a lack of ability to communicate etc.
There are several others but they I won't ruin the surprise if you go to an interview in office.

FOF's work fine against small gangs the only missile that needs a rework is the defender.

You obviously didn't read anything other than the bold. We're talking about transporting people and pods, not ships.

Although I completely agree that the defender needs rework (massive rework), the FOF's actually do not work that well. Arguably, there are situations where they can be fine, just like having one rocket launcher with defenders could be that little difference that keeps your tank alive (yeah, not really, but still). First of all, if you read the original post again, you will find a reference to FOF missiles firing at structures, harmless ones, instead of the rats that are killing you. How is that not a problem?
