Myxx nodded at the man appearing on her screen, she smiled at what had just been said.
"Thank you, for understanding" Myxx whispered in reply, her voice barely audible. The Caldari nodded in return, "You do as you've said you would and yer halfway there. Don't worry about it. Nothing to be concerned over". With that, the connection died and Myxx stood on the forward observation balcony of her Anathema class frigate, aptly named 'Silentium'. She looked down at the drawings and schematics before her, piecing together the giant puzzle one by one.
"So you are the sleepers... and you there are the Talocan. You both refer to this place as Anoikis. Being without a home, and a form of neurodegeneration" Myxx whispered to herself, her voice only audible past the silent humm of the cloaking device. Her ship was sitting under the wreck of a dead starbase, it had been floating there for some time and nobody would come looking for it was the hope.
"You were trying to go back home, weren't you? Something messed you up, so you plugged yourselves into a virtual society that you had built, didn't you?" She smiled as she pulled up the schematics for high-bandwith wires typically used for near-instant transmission of massive amounts of data, along with the biological schematics of neural pathways inside the human head. She pieced it all together like a giant puzzle, reading all of it at nearly the same time. The coincidences were just too big to not take note of.
"You were fighting over the resources you needed to get there. It was a race, wasn't it?"
As she finished reading what was before her, she spotted something out of the corner of her eye: a stargate, badly damaged. It wasn't like any design she had seen before, not exactly at least. It was similar to a great many designs, except to not any one of them alone. As she blinked, she looked down at her console and brought up the Code Aria Incident report of the unauthorised stargate activation many years prior.
With that, she shut it off and looked to the lone crewman on her ship, "We're done here, launch probes thirteen through seventeen and get us home". The man blinked at her as she spoke, he nodded rapidly and ran off to the auxillery control room to begin the task of safely getting them back to somewhere more familiar. --
