Since 1.5 - I'm moving probes around & setting size - but when I click to analyse the probes - the scan radius on some of the probes seems to randomly increase? This happens mostly at the smaller radius settings.
Anyone else seeing this issue?

Nope, I haven't had that error but I am ridiculously happy with the new centering mechanic. Whoever had that idea and coded it did a really nice job!

How does the new mechanic work?

Happens, when you change scan radius by pushing the bubbles holding shift key. Then all bubbles shrink, but it may happen that some of them have different scan radius noted in the scanning window and have to be changed there.

No, that's not what I'm talking about at all.
Arrange your probes however you like, then hold the ALT key and move one probe - it moves all your probes accordingly around the central point. No more need to move each probe one at a time after resizing, and this is beyond wonderful.

No problem along the lines of OP, before or since recent update.
Agree with Bo, the alt-drag tweak is great ... even tho I also have an additional (deep space) probe way off out of the main pattern. That one is a real time saver.

I actually got that problem long before the new patch. It was very annoying so I payed VERY close attention to what I was doing. What would happen is I would hold down shift to adjust all the probes sizes, then when I went to scan all the probes except the one I was actually using to adjust the size would pop back to a larger size. What I figured out was, if you let go of the shift key before you finish resizing your probes, the other probes will size back up when you hit scan.
I'm sure you are telling yourself right now that there's no way you are doing that, but, give it a look, pay attention. Since I started making sure I held the shift key down I have not had my probes resize on scanning again.

once you get your probes into the desired pattern, hold down alt and move 1 probe. I will keep the pattern proportional in all directions. . Adapt and overcome or become a monkey on an evolution poster.

You're probably right. I'll pay attention next time. Thanks for posting.
BTW .. no working ALT key functionality for me on Mac version. Shame.
