The Ishukone-Raata Enforcement Directive would like to extend a invitation to Caldari Loyalist Corporations, to the Sela Economic Summit which will be held in the Malkalen III - Ishukone Watch Assembly Plant on 01.06.YC113 (June.1st.YC113). The planned schedule for the Summit is 1-3 hours starting at 22:00 Hours.
Several key points will be assessed at the Sela Summit, one will be to attempt to establish strong trade relations which are almost non-existent at this time among Caldari State Loyalists, several Economic Issues that are apparent in the State will be addressed, and putting a Joint-Economic Stimulation plan in place.
ôWe place our economy among the first and most important of Caldari virtues, it is time we address this virtue.ö - John Revenent, Ishukone-Raata Enforcement Directive.
(NOTE: Organizations outside the Caldari State are welcome to petition to join this Summit, but they will be screened/selected so requests may be denied.)

The improvement of interstellar trade among corporations within the State can only be a good thing for their foreign trade partners. The protectionism and suspicion of the last several years has been holding back growth and adding tension to an already bleak political climate. It's exciting to see capsuleers, and I-RED in particular, taking the lead on this. Federal Robotics will be in touch.

I will grant you that protectionist tariffs only serve to prop up weak sectors that should be outsourced, but the suspicion is certainly warranted. Economic and cultural warfare is how the Federation conducts it's imperialistic agenda.
This is a discussion of Caldari interest by Caldari citizens and I respectfully request that you not interfere. ============================================

Mr Grayson, I assure you our intentions are not disruptive in any way, and Mr Revenent has extended an invitation to organizations from outside the State to attend this event by exception. If you hosted such a summit, I would of course abide by the rules you set.

You Caldari used to be smart, now your arguments become dumbed down to teenage accusations and conspiratorial circle jerks.
Hate to break it to you Statist, but Quafe, Roden, Creo, Thukker and a host of countless businesses flood Caldari markets with "vile assertions of cultural imperialism" every day.
You think a capsuleer selling a few ships or modules or whatever is gonna do anything disastrous?

Before the development of business relationships can be discussed, it will be imperative to discuss how the public policies of any of the organizations may impact the legitimate efforts of the others.
This being said, LDIS is very interested to hear what kind of business relationships our fellow Caldari our interested in pursuing and what cooperative efforts they believe are worthwhile.
As for the conclusions; I would hope any specifics, especially the specifics of any business agreements between two entities, is kept close hold and not published. However, I do see value in publishing a summary of the discussions and general conclusions or any shared public policies.

Thank you for the comment but it will not be necessary, Patriot or not he does have his own opinion. One we should not be too critical of. After all this is a effort to work together.

You make several key points, no doubt some of our policies will conflict it is something that will be addressed before talks convene.
You are right any specifics will be held as confidential material, only accessible to select Summit members, and as you stated a general but brief outline of what was agreed upon will be released to public view.

I find this comment supremely hypocritical given the host alliance's actions in recent months. There are other concerns that have drawn the ire of more than a few Caldari citizens, but I'll focus on the most relevant:
During the Wolfsbrigade - I-RED war, W-BR pilots made a damaging strike against an I-RED mining op. The corp which was hit resigned from the alliance, but according to intelligence data went right on supplying I-RED with war material. If that had been publicly known at the time, the corp in question would likely have received a wardec of their own and would have been rendered inactive and possibly dissolved.
If a Caldari industrial corporation wanted to establish relations with another Caldari corp which ultimately led to better-supplied Caldari forces, it would be in their best interests to keep that information hidden from public eyes. Heck, they could receive a wardec just for claiming to be Caldari.
As someone from an alliance that has benefited from having industrial corps both living in Gallente space to be shielded from enemy militia corps, and in I-RED in an unofficial capacity, I figured you would understand the need of confidentiality here.

You raise a valid concern, Tookus-haani. I trust details of the meeting, including those regarding its attendees will be held in confidence. It seems Mr. Engel's comments may have been made out of context. ---

John,
I will unfortunately be unable to attend this meeting due to planetside commitments but will try and get a director to attend if possible.
If not, if you could keep us in the loop with this then would be most appreciated.
