I currently run missions for a agent in 0.9 sec...I know 0.5 sec would boost my reward & lp... but would it do anything at all for my bounties? (if so then how much would a 500k or 1mill 0.9 bounty be worth in 0.5?)

The mission NPCs have fixed bounties determined by the mission. Bounties on NPCs only vary in non-mission spawn locations. However, some missions will have a few random spawns which may have varying bounties depending on your system security. --- ISD IonCharge Lt. Commander ISD STAR |

So moving from this cozy spot 2 jumps from jita to a 0.5 system wont make all that much of a difference as far as my profit goes?

Edited by: GIGAR on 29/05/2011 12:17:07 It will increase your mission payout and LP, but other than that, no. Loot and bounties will stay exactly the same. So you will lose "some" ISK (especially from LP). I can't say how big the difference is, though - does anyone know the specifics?

I can't really say I've been paying attention to bounties, but the LP and mission payout between a 1.0 and 0.5 agent was noticeable.
My 0.5 mission system is 10 jumps from my base, so I leave my mission ship behind and take a shuttle AFK back and forth.

The reward amount in L4's between 1.0 agents and 0.5 agents is noticeable - but not all that significant. For example, I recently got World Collide [Guristas & Serpentis] from a Caldari Navy Agent in Funtanainen [0.9] and then 48 hours later from Uuhulanen [0.5] - the .5 agent rewarded me about 750k ISK and ~1000 LP more than the .9 agent. The bounties were exactly the same, and the salvage/loot was "roughly" the same.
Given an average LP:ISK conversion rate, the .5 agent earned me approximately 2M ISK more than the .9 agent did. Keeping in mind that the ISK reward and LP conversion was about 20% of the total value of the mission - bounties, salvage and loot making up the vast majority of that mission's profitability.
That said, here is my advice:
If you loot/salvage, then the security of the system your agent is in doesn't really matter all that much b/c the actual reward from the agent makes up a small portion of the ISK intake from the mission. If you're blitzing, then try to do it in a .5/.6 system if you can b/c direct ISK and LP reward make up a much larger percentage of your ISK intake from each mission.
