Does it really matter? In all the sci-fi movies/TV shows I've ever seen, the concept of a toilet has never been addressed.
Is there one on the USS Enterprise? One on the Millennium Falcon?
What do they do with the poop anyway....flush it out into space? Careful not to get hit by that frozen turd as you warp through space. The ones with corn in them will really damage your ship and the floating toilet paper will plug up your intakes.

What about beds? Station Traders and very busy Corporation Directors might not get out of their home station very often. Do they climb back inside the pod to sleep? Or do they just use a couch?

Edited by: Hesperius on 30/05/2011 19:38:07 There is a bed in the CQ.
What pod pilot cooks for themselves? Then again what pod pilot gathers their own minerals...
The shower and wash room are on the other side of that door.
Your ship passed through the airlock on your way in.
Gravity comes from the gravity generators.

No way that can happen, the metal that made up the spaceship cannot withstand any air because of corrosion/other stuff! |

There is a clear sealant on your ship, sprayed there as you pass through the airlock. |

Entire station is pressurized, airlock forcefield on the station's docking bay door, ship shielded from atmosphere by own shields. Also, gravity generators. They haz them. EVERYWHERE. Apparently. OMG, EVE IS STAR TREK AND/OR STAR WARZ ! _

Do you think captain's quarters will come with utility billing? For example, dont pay your bills and one day the lights and gravity are turned off?

Use your imagination. Just imagine your character is doing these things (edit: or that toilet facilities are available). When I play other RPG games that allow for home ownership I don't stop to think whether my character needs to poop or pee or not.

I suggest you check out Joss Whedon's "Firefly" on dvd or bluray. Captain Malcomb Reynolds had a toilet in his quarters, you push it back and it became a sink. So yes the firefly class ship Serenity had toilets.

Babylon 5 also had toilets, not only ordinary ones but ones for methane breathers as well. Sinclair and Garibaldi even irradiated their hands after using them. --
