When running the auto updater that gets downloaded to...
C:\Users\%USERNAME%\AppData\Local\CCP\EVE\c_program_files_(x86)_ccp_eve_tranquility\cache\evepremiumpatch259851-264377.exe
It then downloads the actual patch to..
C:\ProgramData\CCP\EVE\Downloads\BITC8C3.tmp
Does this get renamed to the patch .EXE or is it a custom file format the autoupdater uses?
Does it stay there AFTER the patch has been applied or is it deleted by the auto updater?
I suspect it is locked while being applied by the auto patcher preventing copying out to another location.
I need to keep this patch download to patch multiple machines.
PS: Trolls posts will be reported

Hi Miilla,
The patch payload once completely downloaded is put in %programdata%\CCP\EVE\Downloads - The name will be EVEPREMIUM.6.44.259851-6.45.264377.7z
The patch exe is downloaded to, like you said, C:\Users\%USERNAME%\AppData\Local\CCP\EVE\c_program_files_(x86)_ccp_eve_tranquility\cache\evepremiumpatch259851-264377.exe
What you need to do is copy both these files to the same folder on your new computer and run the exe.
Hope this helps!

This is definately kept after the autoupdater exits?
Just wondering because it is going to take me 23 hours to download it, I hope it handles broken connections and can resume fine.
I do not see any other .7z files in my Downloads which makes me concerned it gets wiped after I exit the autopatcher.
Also wondering why I cannot exit the autopatcher during the download step 1 in order to pause / resume it.

You need to remember to untick the box on the final page where it says "Cleanup downloaded data". Unticking that will make sure that the files stay.
I would suggest that you download the manual patch, if you are planning on putting it on multiple machines. It would save you the hassle of finding the files and remembering to uncheck that tickbox after watching that download screen for 23 hours ;)

Ahh yes thanks, I always check that lol.
So, about the interruptions during downloading, it can handle resuming, I dont want to get 22:59 hours in and find the connection dropped (which it WILL do as its mobile internet).
If I close this autopatcher and resart it will it continue on where it left off?
I cannot use firefox as when the connection drops the EVE CDN1 server will not resume and i have to redownload all again that is why I am using the autodownloader.
Can it handle resumes?

I'm afraid not, currently it does not handle resumes. I would suggest that you download a download manager if you are on a bad connection and use that together with firefox. Or find a good stable connection and download the patch I linked you and then put it on a USB key.

When will resume be added to the autopatcher?
I added it to the features / suggestions forum just in case it isnt on the dev scheules.
