Today the Free Captains of Jericho Fraction celebrate eight years of victory.
I speak these words with assurance and confidence because the victory we share is a triumph over every regressive hand and mediocre ambition that thought to turn us from the path of Free Space liberation and bring us back to the loamy-bedrock of nationalist hierarchy and closed-border xenophobia during the years of our revolution.
A revolution begins and ends in the hearts and minds of living people. It is a dream and ideal forged bright and burning in the passions of the strong. It transcends starships and weaponry, it spreads like wildfire in the anarchic beauty of love and vision, it raises spirits and opens minds and cannot be extinguished by the corrupt and the banal.
Our revolution springs from the simplest of notions: that the individual is sovereign and independent and is free to make decisions beyond the limitations of imposed hierarchy and theocratic violence. We believe that the technology of the capsule has freed mankind from servitude to base concepts of servile indenture and we capsuleers have a responsibility not to shrink from these notions of liberation, but to share and enflame these ideals by every word and deed.
Free trade, fair commerce, voluntary association and collaboration with like-minded partners, self-defence, sovereign-individuality and freedom of thought and decision; these are our ideals and we have kept them throughout the long years of Diaspora in the face of any who would spit and hurl invective and venom in defence of sacred nationalism and nihilistic corruption.
Our revolution is your revolution. It is not enough that we defend our freedom and prosperity; we invite you to assert yourselves and become our partners in free trade and exploration across these open stars. This is why we have never strayed from the path of NRDS engagement, never fallen for the sickly wiles of xenophobic NBSI, we truly believe that capsuleers are able to interact with honour and integrity unleashed from the commands of state and statist tyrant alike.
We see the tapestry of stars besmirched by nation states and their illegitimate children in nullsec gangster cliques; we watch the road-blockers and reactionary brutes strutting in their tribal feathers and painting themselves with gaudy tribute as they boast of those they kill for no purpose than salving existential angst and stellar void within their crippled hearts. We listen to a thousand justifications and excuses and we see posthumanity chained by brigands and cultists forged as weapons for the ego of a few and we shake our heads with sad-eyes and resolve never to surrender to the sink of depravity and pit of wasted dreams.
Jericho Fraction began this fight eight years ago when we raised a clamour against the now-mythical Masters of Ownage (m0o Corp) in Lonetrek and went on to influence and reform the piratical Venal Alliance, where we came into conflict with corporate corruption of Taggart Transdimensional and their CEO Ragnar in a sequence of power-plays and manipulations that would conclude in the Great Northern War (New EdenÆs first clash of capsuleer superpowers on an epic scale).
But we have ever fought the big-battalions of nationalist folly with makeshift weaponry and volunteer passion: from our earliest skirmishes in cruise-missile frigates against Forsaken Empire battleships, to the heroics of the GNW interceptor wolf-packs against the Phoenix Alliance security treaty, from cloaked cunning in occupied Providence in support of the Matari people, to our outgunned (but never outmanoeuvred) signature cruisers in Black Rise to Bleaklands cumulating in the great battles of Space and Freedom in Kamela.

We have always understood that winning battles is as much to do with imagery and imagination as it is of raw numbers and cynical cowardice, the idea of a victory is the reward of a fight well done, and the symbolism of ten heroic cruisers confronting the most powerful force in New Eden while every eye in the cluster watched in straight disbelief is a currency without equal, immortal and enduring to this very day.
The Free Captain of Jericho Fraction is no nationalist soldier briefed and unquestioning of orders. No brigand-thief motivated by preying only on the weak. No kill-junkie submissively accepting the mockery of his superiors for the self-hating pride at serving a greater killer. No militiaman seeking meaningless praise and medals in the hierarchy, and no mere mind-blank pawn to a pirate-kings self-stroking egotism in the lonely darkness.
The Free Captains are masters of their own fate; capable amateurs volunteering to place themselves in harmÆs way to assert and defend the principles we share. No respect for nationalist bullying. No retreat from senseless violence. No surrender to shoddy compromise or shifting of ideals on the principle articles on our shared vision for a capsuleer future in New Eden.
We believe the capsule can free mankind from servitude to state and empire. We believe the gift of immortality in our hands can be shared far beyond the restrictions of our space-born brethren. We believe the capsuleer is more than a weapon to be aimed by statist policy or pirate folly and must assert independence in all things, to rise on wings of ambition to embrace the chance we have been given to bring genuine change and a better future for all our comrades and kinsmen to come.
Eight years we have striven to prove our ideals and demonstrate by actions the truth of our words. While for eight years our enemies have tried to silence us, to destroy us, to banish by all means necessary the hope and idealism of our vision. Empires have assaulted our holdings, Alliances have formed with the sole goal of destroying our name, Militias have put aside their hostilities to express their hatred of the freedom we dare to speak, but none of these have known the slightest success or satisfaction while the Free Captains stand proud and ply their trade by principles of sovereign independence and open-handed acknowledgement of neutrality and coexistence in New Eden.
To our friends and trade partners we give our thanks and respect. To foes dead and gone we give our memories and quiet satisfaction. To those we encounter in space we declare as we always have: that neutrality will be respected and Free Transit across the stars be acknowledged the true shared wealth of our post-human existence.
And perhaps it is fitting that on our eighth anniversary we turn to fight again the most corrupt of our foes; those who fell from our friendship and abandoned the principles of Freedom to make of themselves a parasitical blight on the frontier we taught them once to love.
Jericho Fraction has been targeted for destruction and annihilation by the twin alliances Rote Kapelle and Veto who in defence of their puppet nationalist representative Moira Corporation, have forged a bold (if somewhat baffling) combination of Gurista/Sansha loyalist/Anti Sansha Federal Extremist agenda united (if their words to be believed) only in hatred for the Free Captains and febrile boasted intentions to drive the Fraction from Placid and burn our holdings and staging towers to the ground!

What better way to celebrate our eighth anniversary than another victory against the forces of regressive imperialism and nullsec mediocrity?
What clearer demonstration of our triumph than in facing-down the collective might of this shoddy pack of quivering jackals to deny their ambitions with verve and guerrilla cunning?
We welcome the formal wardec from Rote Kapelle alliance and raise it as a symbol of victory that after all these years we can still rile the crass egotism of nullsec monsters and bait the regressive beasts from their depths to dash themselves to splintering ruin in the starlight of our idealism!
Let us see whether the Rote Kapelle wardec outlives Moira Corporation and if the will of VetoÆs Dreadnaught fleet will surpass our ability to raise staging towers and resist the oppressive stench of quisling aroma stealing from the Roach Motel in TXW-EI system. It is clear to us now that this unsightly coterie of clowns wishes to spread its miasmatic chife across free Placid to stifle all the glorious scents of liberation and freedom if they can. Will second hand ambition inherited from the fevered hatred of pitifully-obsessed minds prove sufficent to the task their drooling lips have set for themselves? We doubt it.
So here on our anniversary in New Eden Jericho Fraction stands unbowed and unbound, and even opposed by five times our number of cowardly poltroons carping and gibbering their petty villainies in support of an ethically-bankrupt nationalist leader we simply laugh in the face of our foes and tell them an emphatic ôbring itö as weÆve done so many times before.
We accept the terms of their aggression; we stand in their crosshairs as they aim at annihilation of our message and our ideals. Let this war last as long as it must to demonstrate the clash of wills implicit in the declaration. We shall be standing proud when the folly is passed and gone and all unwisely spoken boasts turned to dust in the stellar wind.
There are limits to cod-nationalist piratico-nihilist ambition and we are about to turn that revelation into a symphony of woe to the egotistical delusions of the TXW roach motel management and staff.
Long live the Fraction! Long live the Fighters! Long live those who Dare to Dream!
And hereÆs to another eight years humiliating the pride of petty tyrants and their mindless drones.
Join the Revolution!

These have been trying years for us all, and though through it all we have come through it with flying colors. I have been happy to serve in this Corp and Alliance for the past 7+ years. Though I have been called away a few times, my home has ever been Jericho. Are enemies are numerous, and yet or allies are just as as many. We will continue to shoot those who would oppress our fellow brothers and sisters out here soaring through the heavens.
Long live the Revolution.

The Star Fraction Sovereignty You hold no Sovereign space. You are not independent. You leech off the Gallente Federation in your attempt to project fake control over space that is not yours.
It is the Serpentis that seek to remove you from their contested space, not the Guristas. That our aim coincides with theirs is inconsequential.
Tell me, which of the Gallente corporations do you submit yourself to so as to be harbored in Ostingele? You are a mockery of what it is to be Free. You cower behind the protection the Gallente offer you in their space. Pets of the Gallente, nothing more, no masters of your own fate. Step out from under the Gallente and stand on your own away from low security space. Then we shall see how long your Free Captains remain so.
I am no slave to any man nor tyrant. I come for those that claim what is not theirs.

On May 31, 2003, an organization was formed by a resolution of a few brave pilots. Since that day, many capsuleers have borne the title Free Captain. In honor of them it is fitting that we commemorate the birth of our Revolution by recalling the glories of its illustrious and heroic history.
The record of our organization is one that bears comparison with the most famous and infamous corporations and alliances in New Eden's history. From the very beginings of the Free Space Movement, the Fraction has been engaged with freedom's foes. From the battles in Lonetrek to the Great Northern War, Free Captains have won foremost honors in war.
In every battle and skirmish since the birth of the Fraction, Free Captains have acquitted themselves with the greatest distinction, winning new honors on each occasion until the name Free Captain has come to signify all that is highest in revolutionary zeal and free spirited determination.
This high name of distinction and virtuous ideal we who are Free Captains today have received from those who preceded us in the corp. With it we also received from them the revolutionary spirit which has inspired our members from every generation. So long as that spirit continues to flourish, Free Captains will be found equal to every conflict in the future as they have been in the past, and the population of New Eden will regard us as worthy successors to the long line of brave capsuleers who have dared to dream since the founding of the Fraction.

If you would care to access quite publicly available database that records our combat actions you would find that engagements against your organization, something I belive you are referring to when you say kill for somebody else' delusion and ancient grudges, are very minor in the overall picture. And really, majority of those that end up as statistics on our engagement database are those we really do not know all that intimatedly, although you could say that exchanging large caliber projectiles, super heated plasma or semi autonomous little death machines is a somewhat intimate experience.
Indeed I do believe the reason we continue to attract new pod pilots to our organization lies in the fact that in us they find like minded pilots, those that want to see the world burn, just because. Well, some of us have more....complex reasons but I leave it up to the individiual pilot to speak his or her mind on that because we happen to believe in the freedom of individual pilot to do what they like as long as it doesn't run counter to our few and basic rules.
And I find it quite hilarious that you refer to us as an enclosuristic entity when we follow the same rules of engagement and very similiar philosophy as an organization you were on friendly terms while it was still active, Clown Punchers Syndicate. Indeed a formal acknowledgement of mutual friendship was exchanged and that maintained for good part of that organizations lifespan. Perhaps the fact that we, and when I say we I mean Clown Punchers Syndicate for I am a former member of them, maintained NRDS philosophy in areas informally know as high and low security areas of New eden for the first few months of our existance as an entity ;).

Those who reject justice become terrorists and are placed beyond trust. The free captains' actions by this same logic remain heroic legitimate self-defence directed against a murderous tyranny or against diversionary reactionary elements (you know who you are).
These terrorist, these piratical organisation who couldn't hack NRDS are politically isolated, they turn to terror as a substitute for political change. However, IÆll not discount them out of hand, but say that the break down of the prestige of government through its failure to provide security, may furnish a continuous proof of the possibility that the pursuit of such a contest may raise a revolutionary spirit. However, their contest may just as easily present an alternative that's so unprincipled, or unremarkable that it remains entirely unheard.
So, while these diversionary elements no doubt have their own story (although it's a very boring one), they have become an effect, and our purpose is to become the cause or contribute to the cause: free space.

Your poetic ramblings are nearly Constantinian in both content and validity. Thank you for keeping it short though.
The Free Captains of the Star Fraction are quite the puzzle are they not? Claiming to be Transhumanist, attempting to at least have the appearance of taking the higher road. Using words like Justice, Mercy, Freedom, Legitimacy.
Ask the Cosmopolite if he can use his laboratory to take samples from all around the Universe and break it down to its most fine and basic components. Then have him run his most sensitive and detailed scans on it and look over the results. I am certain that you will find no Justice particles. No iota of Mercy or Freedom contained in the dust and debris. Transhumanism, believing in reason and science, wanting to advance the human condition with technology and a greater understanding of the universe and all that it contains. Yet you all keep braying on about what is Right and Wrong. What is Good and Bad. You know as well as I that those things are human constructs. Imaginary. Kobolds and Imps made to brainwash and control populations from a very early age. How very naughty of you to use such propaganda.
In the spirit of the occasion, I will give you a small gift. It can be learned from observing any biosphere where two or more living things compete for room to grow or food to eat. The one with the will to kill is the one that will prevail. It is really that simple. We want to kill you. We do not constrain ourselves to faulty imaginary constructs. We do what we must, what we wish, when we wish. You do not.
I am a Free Captain. What are you?
