Currently, highsec incursions don't disrupt faction navies and CONCORD. From a lore perspective, I don't how this works: either the Sansha are strong enough to drive CONCORD from highsec (hint: they aren't), or CONCORD should have an easy time dealing with the Sansha themselves.
So I suggest to adopt one of two changes:
- CONCORD repels the invasion forces themselves; to compensate for this, the incursions that currently spawn in highsec constellations could spawn in lowsec instead, or
- a constellation that is affected by an incursion should effectively turn into non-conquerable 0.0 space, because CONCORD can't keep the order.

I quite agree with this. No reason for such rewards to be mostly risk free.

i vote that if there is an incursion Sansha forces expel CONCORD until the capsulars destroy the Sansha mothership.
if the sansha mothership is not destroyed within 2 days of spawning, sansha invades 1 adjacent constellation...

just imagine that concord is hiring mercs to help with the invasion, (hence they pay us loyalty points) thaty way their police officers get to go home to their families in one piece
this way ccp can put their attention on more important things to do^^
if anything, incursions need to to have more glorious structures for us to behold

I think a better solution is to have Concord use cheeseburger launchers (much like the snowball launchers) that deal greasy damage. This would have about the same affect on playability and fix as many issues as the forthcoming incarna expansion. And by expansion I mean peenith.

So what are we supposed to imagine to explain why both concord and faction navy ships will jump into incursion sites, kill your ship and just sit around to watch the sansha for a while?
I have to agree, make all incursion affected systems into temp null.

i concur...
having concord warp into a highsec incursion site to Concordoken some scrub then sit around going while everyone else fights the Sansha just isn't right.
at least make highsec incursion space act like lowsec... no concord but sec status loss.

I have never done any of the lowsec incursions but to my limited knowledge on the matter, the constellation control of them moves very slowly. Furthermore, since it is low-sec the number of gate-camps that occur in those constellations are probably much larger and more common than normal.
In short, if you want all the PvE/high-sec carebears or the people who do take spontaneous interest in the incursions to not participate at all then making incursions in high-sec similar to lowsec would likely accomplish that.
In my opinion, the point of incursions was to provide an extra bit of fleet-action for all people willing to face certain risks in exchange for an equivalent reward regardless of the size of corp they were in. Hi-sec rewards are not as high as low/null-sec rewards to the best of my knowledge.

Your knowledge would be incorrect. Payouts are the same, for drastically less risk.

True, high sec incursions have less rewards. This is kind of what the reward tree looks like:
Nullsec - Above average risk, high reward. Lowsec - High risk, high reward. Highsec - No risk, above average reward.
Notice how the higher the risk, the less reward in comparison to the risk? In high sec, they have no risk. And yet, they still get exceptional rewards, only 30% less than null/lowsec.
If anything, CCP should seriously nerf high sec incursions to less than 50% rewards, both LP and isk.

It would be AWESOME, but knowing the average QQ and tear-flood from highsec carebears, it would never, NEVER, >>>EVER<<< happen.
