While trying the military tutorials i was often asked to try out equipment for which i lacked skill.
Even when i went ahead and bought the skill (which a new player might not know to do) i still had to wait at least 10 minutes for the skill to complete in order to continue the tutorial.
Fixing the presence of the skill book is a different bug report but even if this is fixed, the waiting time for training to complete is still annoying for the new player.
An idea would be to allow meta level 0 items to be fitted/used by players with the skill injected even if not trained. |

maybe meta 1 skill books that take less than 15 mins should just train to 1?

I mean, in the greater scheme of things and even with 16X skills, wouldnt it better for the player, new and otherwise, experience simply to get rid of the 0->1 gap?
Great one. No more Inject skill or train to level 1 simply have inject skill and that automatically give the player rank one in the skill. |

In the mission Cash flow for capsuleers (6 of 10) (amarr military NPE), you're sent to kill off a structure. Aura advises you not to loot the place cause local autorities don't take kindly to capsuleers transporting contraband...
The structure dropped 10x Long-Limb Roes and 10x Wheat....
Wouldn't it be better if it actualy dropped contraband so those who decided to take it anyways found out how that works? Could be something mission speciffic that had 100% chance of getting scanned, but had very limited penalty... Like a caution, confiscation and some stern talking to about not doing that again

hmm maybe removing level 0 is a good idea.. but...
I can't remember can you inject a skill you can't train yet? just so you can carry it around? I don't think you can so this will be assuming you can't do that : P
If you took out all of the 0 to 1 sp from the whole game. It would only , max equal 2-3 days of training time. I think eve can do without those 3 days without losing it's hardcore edge. Lots of game start you at level 1, so... why not?

No, you can't inject a skill if the prerequisites aren't met. Wich is annoying if you want to put a skill in training queue when the last skill needed to meet the prereq is the one being in the queue.

Just an FYI, Civilian Modules are given in the tutorials. These particular modules do not require any sort of training. Hope this helps!
