So CCP you have saved what pose the character was in but you dont have the camera position saved. In short I would like to have the option to have my character in the same pose with the same camera position after I have changed her hair for example.
Thank you for reading this if you do. If you actually think on it for a moment thank you some more. If you implement it I will love you forever and give you waffels! \o/ ---

This does seem like a sensible idea as it would allow for minor customizations to be done without rendering the origional portrait radically different to that prior to editing.

Last time i went in to change a lil thing with my char's face, i got back to that screen and realised i'd have to spend even more time sorting a decent pose. Currently im really happy with how my character looks, and having to go thru the pose AGAIN is putting me off; it'd definitely be ausum to be able to alter things here and there without losing that pose - maybe needs some sort of 'snapshot' to get back to it?? --
You're a stark example of just what is wrong with the youth of today. I wish your parents had the presence of mind to have you recycled into a nutrient soup with which to feed the elderly. |

You see the thing is, I thought it would of done all what I ask for seeing as you take a "picture" of your character for the portrait. I am sure it wouldnt be too hard to save pose and camera co-ords with that. ---

Edited by: Mag on 03/06/2011 20:54:30 +1 from me too.
I would love to change my background, but CCP have decided I cannot now reproduce this pic! It seems they want to limit you, into having both eyes showing.

When i want to change some detail (scar, tatto, just hair colour..etc) which i think would fit in nicely once i had a good look at my final portrait ingame i never get exaclly the same conditions as on the first occasion i took the portrait.
Also adjusting lights and camera is very taxing to my system so it would be much faster if i can just add new thing and save portrait again as it was with only that new addition.

+1 Also an option to not have to remake your portrait but just use the old one just cos you have changed your outfit in incarna. We get to recognise people by their avatar pics, and people take a lot of time over them. It seems a shame to make them change what is effectively their passport photo, that appears throughout eve and the forums, simply cos they wanted to try out a new outfit.
I made a thread on the subject a little while back.

Come ooooon CCP :D
Look at all these people and I am sure there are more that want this feature. It can't take THAT much time to code can it? Now is the time to include it before or at the launch of Incarna! ---
