Recent events have led me to the conclusion that all is not right in the Progressive movement. Despite objections made in caucus, GIPA has pushed forward with policies, that in my opinion, are not in the interests of the federation.
With this in mind, I will be resigning from the movement at my earliest possible opportunity and seeking employment elsewhere. It is possible that the Sociocrats may be needing people to help steer the ship in this difficult time with Msr. Broussard's unfortunate passing.
If anyone can for see an employment opportunity for me within the Sociocrats movement or elsewhere in Federal politics, I would appreciate the advice.

But...Andreus says,
Originally by: Andreus Ixiris GIPA does not act "on behalf" of the Federation, nor do they represent it in any official capacity, nor do they represent any other Federal organisation or Federalist capsuleer corporation.
So you should be able to stay and continue your work no?
Sniping at Andreus aside, I do feel a bit of sympathy for the Federation. I think reent events illustrates the rampant corruption of the Federal government and many of the organizations that support it. It furthers the cause of terrorists and other degenerates, and it does so on the backs of law-abiding innocent civilians.
Ms. Severasse, have you considered leaving the Federation for greener pastures? Based on what little information I have, I'm still prepared to offer you quite an attractive incentive package if you are willing to relocate. Would you consider taking an objective second look at Khanid? If so, please contact me at your earliest convieance.
I wish you the best of luck.

Edited by: Lyn Farel on 05/06/2011 12:02:27 Considering the recent confused moves of the new GIPA leadership, I wish you best luck in your endeavors and will try to leave you any hint if I find at some point what you are looking for.
Best regards, Farel.

Ms. Severasse.
While I understand your reasoning for leaving the Gallente Independent Progressive Alternative, your willingness to seek employment with Sociocrats makes me suspect your political convictions.
Are you looking for a job or a cause?
Perhaps you should consider Mr. MokkĘs offer, after all in the Kingdom you wonĘt have to worry about all that, ōpopular opinionö.

Mr Syagrius,
As a progressor, I have always been socio-leaning, so it is not entirely unreasonable to seek employment with the Federal Party.
As for employment with the Khanid Kingdom, I doubt we will be a good fit, based on the KPV's apparent dislike of the Gallente people as a decadent race.
I try to think of the Gallente Federation, not as putting an extra isk into somebody's pocket, or making anybody President, but as a nation that is bringing something better to the people, better standards of living, greater happiness to the mass of the people. We have a great objective - the light on the hill - which we aim to reach by working the betterment of mankind not only here but anywhere we may give a helping hand. If it were not for that, the Federation would not be worth fighting for.
If the Federation can make someone more comfortable, give to some father or mother a greater feeling of security for their children, a feeling that if a depression comes there will be work, that the government is striving its hardest to do its best, then the Federation will be completely justified.
The Gallente people bring this to New Eden - the light on the hill, shining, where all can see, an example to all people.
GIPA has forgotten the light on the hill.

Well Ms. Severasse, I don't know how to put this.
It could be that you and I were keeping our NeoComs open at different times, but I never saw you proposing your own policies or opposing those of GIPA's former chairman.
You could have attempted to change things any time, but you chose not to do so. To me this seems like a strange time to start bashing the party whose director you once were.
It also puzzles me that you decide to turn your coat right when I take over.
Obviously, I am an immigrant, I speak with an accent and I look different than you, Ms. Severasse. Maybe this is the true reason you chose to go? You could not support a chairman who is not of the same race as you? Mr. Blaque and his kind are known for hatemongering and bigotry, and perhaps you will find yourself comfortable in that company.
Forgive me if I doubt your motivations, but I believe it is good for GIPA that Mr. Oinkelmar and his cabinet are finding better things to do.
This allows us now to start pushing forward policies that are truly in the best interest of the Federation.

Accusations of racism? That's really all you've got?
The truth is, chairman, that I started to part ways with GIPA long before your tenure. Also, you were not privy to any discussion I may have had with the former chair.
This is an ideological difference - there is nothing beyond.

I think that Associating Blaque with the majority of the sociocrats is of really bad taste, and kind of a conflation. |
