Edited by: Kivak Wolf on 06/06/2011 03:02:06 I have recently published a simple Android app to help with quickly calculating the worth of your sleeper "loot" (salvage). It's completely free and can be downloaded from the market from here: https://market.android.com/details?id=com.kivak.evesleeperlootcalculator
I would love to find out what people think and what features you might want in future versions!
Take care, Kivak _________________________________________________

Not bad. Clean and straight forward.
Is there anyway to have it pull a market price for the nanoribbons from Eve-Central?
I can understand not adding the other salvage items as they are minor in comparison, but have you considered any of the Radar or Mag site loot?

I do plan to (eventually) learn how to get market data from a website like eve-central for the ones that fluctuate (Melted Nanoribbons for instance). I know PHP very well so I am thinking it won't be difficult to get the data in a easy form for the android to use. However, I am just a beginner at java programming so this is all new to me - learning curve is steep! I do plan to make that in the future though. :)
I am actually working, as we speak, on adding in the mag site and radar site can loot as well. I am also restructuring the interface to go along with that so it keeps a clean interface.
Thanks again for your input! If you can think of anything else, I'm definitely open to it. :) -Kivak Wolf (posting by accident as an alt XD)

Understanding that I have no knowledge of programming these apps my suggestions my not even be possible...
You could have a worm-class selection (i.e. C1) that would limit the input fields to the appropriate items. Since a C1 only provides Wrecked items there's no need to list Intact or Malfunctioning items.

Edited by: Kivak Wolf on 07/06/2011 19:20:00 Thanks for the suggestion and comments!
I am beginning to think that this app can be a whole lot larger than just a loot calculator. I'm tossing around the idea of expanding it into a wormhole "buddy" that has all types of information about the sites. This will probably come to maturity a bit later on.
My primary focus has been switched from incorporating the Mag and Radar sites, to acquiring the live market data. Due to the way I am implementing the class it's much easier to add that feature -before- the new items. But once that feature has been implemented, it will only be a day or two before I am able to release the mag and radar loot.
(right now I am fighting over using a straight DOM parser or SAX, any ideas?)
More to come for sure! I'll keep updating this post. :)
Thanks again for the support! -Kivak _________________________________________________

The new version will soon be available for download (update).
Change log for v1.1:
- Added eve-central market data interface (By default this is loaded. You can still manually update the prices and save them persistently. To update the prices, hit the menu button while in edit mode and touch "Load Jita Prices" (Note: If you update the prices, they will all be updated, including those that were manually changed). All Jita prices are median buy price.
- Removed "Edit Prices" button and replaced with the menu option "Edit Prices" from the main page menu
- Lots of internal class changes
Enjoy!!
As always, comments and suggestions are welcome!
Current goals:
- Checkboxes to prevent some prices from being automatically updates
- Radar/Mag site loot
