Topic says it all, what ship would be the best to blitz a ton of level 1 missions to get faction standing? Thanks!

Also are there restrictions on the frigs that I would be able to bring to a level 1, such as no t2, faction?

Don't think so.
If it allows a frigate it will always also allow an assualt frigate and pirate frigates are just frigates anyway.

Would an inty or AF be the best? Or a pirate ship, like the Dramiel? Just want to blitz as many L1's as possible in the shortest amount of time.

Dramiel is probably best, but the Comet, Ishkur and Firetail all spank L1 missions. Worm looks pretty good, on paper, I haven't actually tried one myself.

I've been doing just that with an Ishkur, missions last 30 seconds or so.

If you're a drone pilot, then a Imicus with 3 T2 Hobgoblins. One cheap and destructive rat killer.

If you have to kill all the frigs to complete the mission, you want something with range and alpha in order to save you the time flying around. So an arty thrasher or beam coercer come to mind. Drones are too slow as they need to fly to the targets first. Also, the ship needs to be fast to travel towards gates. So slap a mwd on the destroyers or use a dramiel if dessies are not permitted on those missions.

t2 frigates are not good idea. i've seen mission which doesn't allow t2 frigates to enter mission space. I would advice (as other people mentioned already) faction frigate or dramiel/daredevil. With daredevil i used to spend only 10 ammo to one mission sometimes

If you have good enough skills to be sure you'll have no tank / cap trouble you can also try destroyers, the Coercer was already mentioned, but I think all are viable (thrasher being my fav due to slot layout / projectiles being awesome) 8 guns will always outperform a t1 frigate's weapons, and I'm assuming most t2/faction ones too. If you're just blitzing you shouldn't need much of a tank anyway.
I always do it in an Ishkur with T2 Rails though, mostly due to versatility / range freedom. --

ishkur with 5 tech2 drones (and as many spares as your skill allows) I fit rails and orbit at 20k using iron ammo, others will fit close range and advise orbiting at 500.... I prefer not being hit. I also chuck on a target painter and a meta 4 or 5 AB.

Warriors II = 9000 m/s. Drones will auto-aggress and have awesome locking time, so you can just deploy them, take aggro and go watch EVE Tourney.
Make sure you have enough locking range and speed, and maybe fit a Drone Link Augmentor for +20km drone control range for The Blockade. MWD is a good idea since sometimes you need to pick up cargo.
I used an Ishkur.

Since when can you use a MWD in mission deadspace?
My Dramiel with a decent AB simply destroys lvl 1 and 2 missions, I've completed some L3 missions in it (just to see if it could). I bought it because I was bored with battleships. I'm more of a speed demon at heart and like flying the small fast ships, too bad there isn't really anyway to make decent money in any of them.

We've been able to MWD in most missions for months now.

Cruisers cannot pass through gates in most lvl1 missions, not to mention locking time along makes it far worse than small droneboats.
On another note, the question would be: How long would it take to actually gain some kind of standings out of lvl1s no matter what you use?

Destroyers, assault frigates, some interceptors like the taranis, and faction frigates will all work fine on lvl 1 missions, if you have proper skills youll oneshot just about everything anyway.

I assume he's not going for corp standing but for faction standing (from the storylines)...

I'm sure you know this but last time I checked (quite some time ago) you never had to run lvl 1s if you had the right skills, you went straight to lvl 2s.
Or it could have been a big dream, I'm never quite sure. |

I'm running a punisher with a full T2 fit (Active armor rep/ pulse lasers and cap stable) with exception to Rigs. Only issue I have are the damn Jammers. Pretty much a T1 frig gets you in the door regardless if your not really worried about the loot.

Don't forget to run the L1 mission for the Tutorial agents. Every faction has 15 of them and they offer all the same two-part mission: Part 1: Kill a single rat (can be done with a any ship or light drone in 15 seconds), Part 2: Fly some low-volume stuff to a neighbouring system. It's an important storyline mission and gives standing boost.
You have to fly around a bit to visit each of these 15 agents of a faction. (The second part's destination is almost always on the way to the next agent because the rookie systems where the tutorial agents live are mostly (or even always?) dead-end systems. So the courier part of the mission almost costs no time.) But getting the same standing boost with regular agents requires 15 x 16 = 240 missions. It goes much faster with the tutorial agents.
Note: You can run the tutorial missions only once per tutorial agent.
I recently had to fix some standing and started with regular L1 missions (in an interceptor) and it was a pain how slow standing actually was raising. I was happy when I discovered the tutorial-agent-way.
