According to EFT, a T3 fit with Projectile Scoping Array will have higher DPS than Turret Concurrence Registry inside optimal range. I simply don't understand how this is possible given the bonuses:
Loki Offensive - Projectile Scoping Array 7.5% bonus to medium projectile turret rate of fire per level
Loki Offensive - Turret Concurrence Registry 10% bonus to medium projectile turret damage per level
EFT also is supposed to account for reloading. So the scoping array has to reload more often and still has higher DPS than the concurrence sub. I assume this is all because of wrecking shots?

100 damage done per shoot 10 second rof weapon.
+50% damage 150 damage done, 10seconds
+37.5% rof 100 damage, 6.25s rof =1.6 shots per 10seconds 100*1.6=160 damage done in 10 seconds. sorta.

You didn't mention all the bonuses
Turret Concurrence Registry 10% bonus to medium projectile turret damage per level 10% bonus to medium projectile turret optimal range per level 7.5% bonus to medium projectile turret tracking per level
Projectile Scoping array 7.5% bonus to medium projectile turret rate of fire per level 10% bonus to medium projectile falloff per level.
Either one is viable in my opinion, just how you use it. The Concurrence looks more like a sniping set up, great for the high alpha slow cycle of artillery with tremor. The scoping array gives more fall off, great for AC if you want a bit more range for their long fall off. But then the Concurrence is also good if you want a close range dog fighter with AC, good rate of fire with the damage bonus + tracking.

Neither did you, only the scoping array gives you a drone bay further increasing its dps :) Dont forget.

Close in brawler with no dronebay usually ends in tears.

I wasn't interested in an overall comparison of the subs, just in the dps equation I indicated. I figured adding all the bonuses would just confuse people.
(Obviously, Scoping better for autocannons due to falloff bonus, the other one for artillery)

Yeah the RoF Vs damage bonuses are always a bit tricky to compare (props to Tammarr!). Personally i like the scoping array for up close and personal encounters and the concurrence registry for sniping. Optimal + tracking + damage bonus = great with tremor!
For example: [Loki, Sniper] Republic Fleet Gyrostabilizer Republic Fleet Gyrostabilizer Republic Fleet Gyrostabilizer Tracking Enhancer II Tracking Enhancer II Damage Control II
Invulnerability Field II Invulnerability Field II 10MN Afterburner II Large Shield Extender II
720mm Howitzer Artillery II, Tremor M 720mm Howitzer Artillery II, Tremor M 720mm Howitzer Artillery II, Tremor M 720mm Howitzer Artillery II, Tremor M 720mm Howitzer Artillery II, Tremor M 720mm Howitzer Artillery II, Tremor M
Medium Ionic Field Projector I Medium Core Defence Field Extender II Medium Core Defence Field Extender II
Loki Defensive - Amplification Node Loki Electronics - Dissolution Sequencer Loki Engineering - Power Core Multiplier Loki Offensive - Turret Concurrence Registry Loki Propulsion - Fuel Catalyst
105+33 optimal and falloff, and 117km targeting range = great sleeper runner in gangs. over 3k alpha with an implant or 2 as well

Simpler way: (1.0 + dmg_bonus) * num_launchers = effective num turrets (1.0 + 0.5) * 1 = 1.5 effective turrets (aka +50% DPS)
num_launchers / (1.0 - rof_bonus) = effective num turrets 1.0 / (1.0 - 0.375) = 1.6 effective turrets (aka +60% DPS)

It's always, because the RoF bonuses are mislabeled. They're not +7.5% RoF, they're -7.5% interval between shots, which isn't at all the same thing.
