Hi,
I've been looking for a C2 wormhole to live in, and after looking in highsec, (And therefore finding ones with highsec statics), I found every single one occupied (9+ Hours wasted as well )
I thought that C2 wormholes with lowsec statics could be less occupied, due to the difficulty of logistics- but after an equally long time spent in lowsec searching for wormholes (3 Whole lowsec regions ), I didn't find one unoccupied wormhole either.
Before I spend even more time searching- would anyone be able to tell me how populated C2s with HS Statics are compared to ones with LS Statics?
Additionally, would it be worth considering trying to find a C2 with a Nullsec static? Or are they relitabely rare in comparison, and would they be more/less populated than the ones with HS/LS Statics?
Thanks in advance!

Yes.. I've had both HS & LS static WH's and by far the HS got more traffic. If you get a C2 with LS static & a C2/C1 you will easily find a HS exit via the 2ndary static several times a week.
TBH the most I ever had to do was go through 3 WH's from my static C2 to find a decent HS exit. Null sec exit would only serve a purpose if you wanted to PVP in null or rat belts, but if your in a WH why would you want to rat, so only reason to have null sec c2 IMO would be for PVP.

My C4 links to a C2 that I farm 3 or 4 times a week. I've been in there since January. I've seen very few HS C2 that weren't POS'd and maybe 3 or 4 LS C2's that weren't. The HS ones seem to be far more common for me. The LS C2's that I found were IIRC very poor for PI and or tiny, as in less than 10AU side to side. Which may be contributing to why they were empty...who knows.
On a brighter note I did find a LS C2 that seemed to have 2 D387? links, that's 2 links to other C2's, I thought that was interesting, and if it did have 2x C2 statics could be worth a fortune. I didn't leave anyone in there to find out.
Do C2's even come with null statics? I don't know. If you imagine a HS has 100 vistiors a day, a LS might get 20, nullsec would get even less. I made those numbers up but it's the feeling I get about it from living in a C3 for a time with a null static.
9 hours? It's going to take a lot longer than that unless you get real lucky.
Your best bet is to find a hole that links to a C2. Any class so long as its static is to a C2. Leave a scanning alt in there and scan from the linking hole directly, every day or so. That's if you absolutely want to live in a C2 only. If you want to farm C2..then who cares what class your home sysyem is? Sure you only cover 1 C2 a day but it's a guaranteed C2, and it's way less frustrating. It's also good practice, living for a time in someone elses WH.
Let go of the hisec security blanket :P

Youre looking for a C2 but didnt mention static. so i will assume you want to farm c2 sites
yes, c2's are very much occupied and finding one empty will take a lot of time. you can join wh alliances that already have c2's or can clear them with relative ease, finding one will take a lot of time.
however, assuming you want to do c2 sites, go to deeper wh space and find a c4 with static c2. c4's arent occupied a lot nor contested a lot. and once youve done a few wh collapses you can easily do the logistics.

I have found c2's with static high sec and a static C3. This would be great for a small corp, as the C3's can be done solo or in a small group.
If you have a bigger corp, one with a static c4 and a static hs/ls would be awesome as well.

Make sure you are understanding correctly. Just because you enter the hole from HS doesn't mean it has a HS static.
As far as busy, they are probably about the same. LS will probably have a higher ratio of pilots wanting to kill you.

Correct. We have a high sec static, and many times, we get a k162 highsec into our system (meaning it was scanned down from the high sec side and not from our wh}

My corp lives in a C3 with a D845 highsec static(meaning that somebody in the wormhole has to warp to it for our system to become accessible).. Even when the wormhole is open, we get nothing like the 100 visitors that somebody mentioned, and the wormhole was in Arnon yesterday. C3s aren't what you're looking for, but If you've got a few friends, you can run them reasonably well in a short amount of time. C3s are a happy medium if you're not sure if you want to continue being a wormhole hermit.
