I have a question that may seem strange or silly to some of you; please bear with me.
I have not actively played EVE for some time, and I am interested in replaying the tutorial/career introduction missions as if I had never gone through them before in an attempt to ease myself back into the fold. I want to do the same for the Sisters of Eve epic arc which, honestly, I cannot even recall whether I had completed before.
Is it possible to simply trigger the tutorial missions as a new character would by going through the standard string of Aura help tutorials? What about Sisters of Eve? Can I simply go to meet Sister Alitura and expect her to treat me as if I had never spoken to her before?
Or would it be necessary to place a petition to reset some flags?

If I remember correctly the epic arcs can be done once every 3 months. You can check if you already did the Sister Alitura arc by looking in your journal, it has a special tab for epic arcs.
The 10 part tutorial missions can be done as often as you like.
I'm not sure about the Aura tutorial popups, its possible you only receive those once pr character. They give out a few free skillbooks, so it might be exploitable if they could be reset.
Some of the tutorials will probably be changed with Incarna in a few days, so this info might be outdated by then.

Check the links in that page for the specific type of agent such as Career, Tutorial, etc.

Thanks for your responses. I've decided to make a second character (I really can't afford to run a separate account) and experience the new Incarna tutorial material that way. It will also give me a chance to acclimate to the new character creator without fear of screwing up my longstanding main character forever since I can just biomass the new one and try again.
Still, it seems unreasonable that players would be cut off entirely from tutorial content after experiencing it once. It is not unusual for people to return to EVE after a hiatus and want a refresher.

You can do the tutorial missions for other empires too.
GM's often reset tutorial mission on request.

I completely agree, and we changed this very thing with Incarna's new NPE (New Player Experience)
You can travel to any of the systems outlined below and speak with AURA, and begin your training. From there you can quit, reset, decline as often as you want, without fear of breaking anything or punished. If you want to revisit it later on, you can do so whenever you like.
Currently this applies to the new starter missions (the AURA-hosted Epic Arc) plus any other epic arcs (Sisters of EVE, Pirate Arcs, Empire Arcs). In the future we want it to apply to ALL tutorial missions (such as the Career training missions, which are still in the "regular" system).

So I can redo those the whole time to get my faction standings up pretty easily or will the standing bonus only be applied the 1st time you do them?

We removed the standings gains from the initial NPE (formerly known as the Crash Course) to avoid people raising standings too easily. Sorry. One step ahead of you there.
