Well I have released a few versions of Mining Buddy I just wanted to see how people are liking it or not. Please tell me whats wrong and what could be fixed. Do you think we should just let MB go and develop a new software or keep maintaining MB?
Please I would like to know from you the users what we should do next. Thank you also July should be seeing a new release of Mining Buddy.

The software is great and is a must for any industrial corp. The biggest issue with it is the lack of multi toon support, human players have multiple toons which they use in the mining ops and instead of making multiple accounts the MB should allow mining directors to press "+1" button and increase the share of that player. Second but smaller issue is that the tool needs to keep track of "Donation Flag" after the op is over and display it in the overview.

Thats good to know about the donation flag I was not aware of that. As for the multi toon support we can look into this but the math on the pay is going to be a problem.

Edited by: Slow Poke on 22/06/2011 00:38:38 Edited by: Slow Poke on 22/06/2011 00:36:53 Preface: I don't know how practical this idea would be or how relevant since i haven't used mining buddy.
1. Assign a primary character to each character in the fleet.
2. Calculate the theoretical max contribution and set that value to 1.
3. Input skills for each character via API and ship loadout(The FC could set up standardized load outs for easier math or use info from dedafs). Calculate their theoretical maximum yield per hour and determine how they compare to the maximum. Assign that as a value relative to the max.
4. Add up the total contribution of the primary character and see what % of the total that person is and pay that percentage of isk from the total.
Example: Player 1 has 6 pilots(5 hulks and 1 rorqual providing boosts) Player 2 has 9 pilots(7 hulks, 1 tank, 1 hauler)
Assuming these values: hulk = 1, rorq booster = 1, tank = .75 and hauler = .75 (these values would be set up by the FC)
Player 1 contribution: 6 Player 2 contribution: 8.5 Total 14.5
Player 1 would receive 41% of the total mined and Player 2 would receive 59%.
