Hi, any news about the winner "Predict PCU" contest? There's nothing in the official thread, but that the prize will be shipped on 1 August; but when will be the winner announced?

In another thread someone said they were announced right before the final. Nobody seems to know what those names were though. I don't why it is so difficult to updated a pinned thread with a couple of names.

Yeah same here. It was so nice when the AT was running, replies were coming almost instantly. Maybe everyone is too much tired now

Edited by: Peter Mine on 22/06/2011 11:47:12 Yep, the winners were announced live on evetv before the finals match at 21h30 evetime of the Alliance Tournament 9 - orally and one single time, but unfortunately it wasn't clear enough. CCP could have made some effort to announce the winners and the peak in writing on evetv (the peak wasnt announced on evetv btw, and it isnt in the official thread HERE at the moment of writing of this message), especially when we are talking about the best prize for non eve tournament participants. I think last year they did the same, and last year CCP announced them in writing in the official thread around a week after the end of the contest/finals. For info, last years winners were 1 and 4 players away from the exact max number of players in the specified timeframe.
According to eve-offline.net (http://eve-offline.net/?server=tranquility), the peak of online players in the finals day in the specified timeframe (19h30 to 21h eve time) at the day of the final match is 56349. I was 18 players away from this and didnt hear my char's name on evetv, therefore the difference is smaller for 1st and 2nd prize.
