Fashionable Capsuleers,
If you attended Fanfest or purchased the Fanfest HD broadcast, the moment youÆve all been waiting for has arrived! Your exclusive Quafe t-shirt is now available in the redeeming system. To obtain your shirt and add it to your already styling ensemble, please do the following:
- Log into the EVE Online client.
- At the character selection screen there will be a Redeem Items button in the lower right corner. Select the character you wish to receive the Quafe t-shirt and press the Redeem Items button.
- Check the box next to the Quafe t-shirt in the confirmation window and press the Redeem Selected Items button.
- You will receive a confirmation window that informs you which character is receiving the Quafe t-shirt and in which station it will be deposited. They are always deposited at the character's current location.
- Click Yes to accept the confirmation window if you are happy with your decision
- Log in to that character and enjoy!
Please Note: There is only one male and one female t-shirt per account.
If you did not receive your Quafe t-shirt or have any other issue with it, please file a petition < http://support.eveonline.com/pages/petitions/createpetition.aspx> and one of our GMs will be able to assist you.

Too bad everything else is hideously expensive. Jesus christ either you guys have managed to run out of money or you're terribly unaware of your own game. The NEX prices are ridiculous! Maybe if you knocked a 0 off the end of them, I'd consider buying something. But until then you just wasted six months of development time.

Well, that was a nice surprise. At least I'll get to wear some new clothing since my financial adviser would choke if I spent 12,000 AUR on a monocle. ~Gnosis~ |

I'm sure this is on the top priority of everyone who is faced with spending real currency in order to upgrade graphics cards / rigs / new macs.
Yay lets celebrate 20% of your customers who are locked out your game.
(i aint bitter i aint one of them, but seriously!)

On a sidenote, I dislike how the part of the shirt where the cleavage is has the shirt "stick" to your skin, rather than spread across the breasts.

I'm was going to care, but then I saw the aurum prizes. I don't care anymore.
I have been a loyal customer for 6 years, I've had friends lined up to play eve once walking in stations showed up for YEARS, literally, since 2009.
I even defending you guys saying you were most likely aiming no higher than 1$ per item so the after market would be healthy, and it would be interesting.
but nope, I don't even want my awesome quafe shirt now I just can't help it, I'm not mad I'm just... I feel like my 6 years of love *and the forums know how much of a fanboy I am* just went out the door. it's wierd, in fact I feel kinda sick...
Bye CCP, I'm sorry

You and I argued once over microtransactions. We disagreed then, slightly less than amicably. Something about a slippery slope.
I'm not trying to rub it in, I'm just posting to sincerely say I wish I had been wrong.

With you there, MM.
With services like Steam and Impulse where I can get countless of pretty descend games for a fairly low price compared to hours of entertainment I have to seriously reconsider if CCP is worth it anymore. I could be calmed with a dev blog explaining their motivation, but with the none I think I have to realize that RMT slope was much slipperier than I expected and "awesome" is a CCP marketing gimmick with no hold in the real world.
Then either continue playing under those conditions or not.
Btw. I am not certain I should redeem this item as I would feel depressed having my character wear it.

Great. "Code already used or invalid" error when redeeming the card given to me at Fanfest at www.eveonline.com/activate.
What kind of petition, exactly, do I need to make to get this fixed? Flew all the way to Iceland, I'd like a souvenir.

To be fair, the piece of card with a code on it is a far more tangible souvenier than a crappy virtual slogan t-shirt. ~~~

reported by CCP Fallout | 2011.03.29 18:46:57 Due to a printer's error, the coupon codes for the Fanfest Quafe t-shirts were printed with incorrect numbers, resulting in the coupons that do not work as intended. We will be sending emails to all EVE Online Fanfest 2011 attendees and provide working codes beginning Wednesday, March 30, 2011. If you do not receive this email by 23:59 UTC on Thursday, March 31, 2011, please file a Billing & Account petition, and one of our customer support representatives will be able to assist you. We apologize for this inconvenience, and thank you for your patience with this matter.
Took some digging but I found this. Might want to edit the OP to have this info, I know I'm not the only one having this problem, and would save the GM's some time answering petitions.

So if 1 PLEX gives you 3600 aur but 300,000,000 ISK
and then if a monacle is 12,000 AUR
You need 4 plex (14400 AUR) to buy one.
14400 AUR is around 1.2 billion isk.
Which means that one monacle is roughly 1 billion isk.
That means one monacle is more expensive than every ship I own in EVE. Which is a fair few, including faction.
But not more expensive than my implants.
So I have to spend the same amount i'd end up spending on a Slave Omega for what? A monacle?!
