Soundwave SHOULD be fired, but not for this in isolation. For everything he's been pushing through for the last half year which is ill-conceived, badly implemented, and has screwed over the player base.
As spiritual lead of BFF, I can tell you that he has NO friends in alliance level logistics after the harebrained, idiotic, pointless JB changes. He has done more to harm the rank-and-file EVE players than anyone else, by increasing the general tediousness of the game - things that you, CCP, should be working to remove.
This is merely the last in a long line of events which have proven him to be acting in the worst interests of players. And when this is pointed out to him, what does he do? The same thing CCP always does in the face of complaints about staggeringly stupid and overwhelmingly unpopular changes: Sweet **** All.

Try playing more than 1 clients at a time without it being a serious degredation in quality, you can't.
Try playing more than 2 clients at a time without it being unbearable, you can't.
Try understanding the error messages you get now. You need to be in a pod to use the industrial services? I'm standing in the ****ing station. You want me to activate a ship, what for?!
