Hello,
You will see that, having been in game since mid 2004, I don't really qualify as a New Citizen, but I still have a noob question. What can i say? Stopping my subscription is not something I have needed to do before. ;)
Could someone please let me know how I would change my subscription settings to avoid the bill being paid automatically once the current paid period expires?
Thanks in advance.

Oh nm, it seems that all I need to do is 'Cancel Account'. That has the same effect apparently.

Hmmmm, CCP appear to have removed/hidden the 'cancel account' option on account management.
Could someone please let me know how I can cancel my account?
Sorry if I'm missing something obvious.

What is your current payment method?
If it's a recurring payment, there should be a cancel option somewhere in account management, unless you're using Paypal - apparently if you're using Paypal you need to log in to Paypal and cancel the recurring payment there.
If it's a non-recurring payment, you can't "cancel" your account. Your account will go inactive when your current paid period runs out.

It would appear that the "cancel subscription" option does not appear if you have an active subscription that isn't set to autopay on expiry. As I cannot see that option, I am taking it that when my current subscription ends, I will be able to decide whether to renew it or not. Result. :)
