Originally by: Hel O'Ween I think you forgot to add one issue: charging 3rd party devs who provide free tools/services to the community and fan sites $99/year for using EVE IP if they receive donations.
No one has a problem with a commercial license that enable those that do whish to charge RL money for their tools to do so. In fact, that's a good idea. But that "gimme money for your free tool" doesn't seem to be a good idea.
Yeah this needs to be added to the list. They are not as vocal a group cause there are not as many of them.
But this was a **** move as well.
I was trying to keep the list to "Just Incarna Rage" - there are a few things that are on the edge of being included such as banned people and this $99 fiasco.
I will add them if we start to get some sort of response to this today/tomrrow so that CCP can address those more thoroughly also.

Hangar view removal is a game breaking feature. Seeing your ship is pretty important (double click to open cargo, right clicking for drone bay, fuel bay, ship maintenance bay) Many ships have the same hologram so it's not easy to see what is the active ship + GPU performance reasons + Getting out of the pod to put 1000 rounds of ammo in the hangar and undock seems silly |

Although not as severe as the previous issues mentioned, there is another needless change that needs fixing:
Why the new icons for tractor & salvager? It actually took me a while to be able to distinguish between these icons, which is pretty sad because really the entire point of an icon is to identify an object and its purpose quickly, in a hasty glance. Now they look like lumps of twisted charcoal, which is not only confusing but also incredibly ugly. The curious thing about this change is that there was absolutely no reason to implement it other than screwing with people, i mean the AUR and everything related was beyond terrible, but it had a purpose of sorts (acquiring more money for greeds sake). This however does not.
I can think of about a million other things that actually need work done, so instead of creating terrible new icons & visuals that do nothing but make it more difficult see whats going on in the game (capacitor display anyone?) please refer to things people mentioned they WANT(NEED) fixed.
Again, an icon is not supposed to look exactly like the thing it displays, but rather serve to identify its purpose without reading the name or pushing the button to see what it does - all while trying to not make something thats permanently in your view the most hideous thing in the entire game. The old ones were fine, and didnt make me want to spill the contents of my stomach through my mouth.

This is a well written post that I was having ideas about posting, but your version is far simpler, more eloquent, and does the job. A few additions:- Issue 3: MT and Fearless CCP can tout the line that Fearless is designed as discussion only. However, when it is distributed company why, left on every desk and every coffee table, it is crystal clear that the topics have the interest of the higher-ups.
Issue 4: Zulu's Blog CCP Zulu has a chance to nip the entire crisis in the bud here. Ask yourself, why is the community so scared? It's the prospect of Pay to Win items coming into EVE at any point in the future. Fearles discussed it, prominent CCP employees such as Soundwave pushed for it (a massive betrayal in the eyes of the users), and the blog failed to mention it at all. Silence on this matter is as good as saying "Yes, P2W items are on the table some time in the future". This needs an answer. This is why people are so scared, the EVE community does not want P2W items ever. Never. Ever.
If you agree with this, then please tell us! Promise us P2W items will never hit EVE, and things will calm down. If you don't even have the guts to tell us though, then you are undeserving of our subscriptions (3500+ and rising so far).
Issue 5: Captains Quarters Next time you create internal models, don't release them in a state where it renders every part of every surface, visible or not, in CQ at maximum detail regardless of distance. This is EVE, not Crysis for f..ks sake. Want to know why GPUs are burning? There you go.
Issue 7: Community Communication This has been a wildfire. CCP could not have done it better - every measure they have taken has been the wrong one. Silence in a matter like this is tantamout to guilt. What started as typical patch day blues escalated with a document about P2W that was confirmed as official, that contained material so inflammatory it created a wildfire. The fact CCP didn't address these rumours quickly is proof in our eyes they intend to push through the plans, and has been like pooring gas onto said wildfire.
The blog which answered nothing, including the big question, and then stated "I hope Iæve addressed your concerns" when it didn't shows how out of touch you are. You are not listening, this drove a gas tanker into the wildfire. You again remained silent.
Then the leaked e-mail from the CEO of CCP. I can't put it better than the OP, it was like another slap in the face, several more tankers being dropped onto the wildfire, and a community which is too numb with shock to even respond constructively.
What we are witnessing, is CCP's attempted destruction of the sandbox that it has spent 8 years creating, that we have spent 8 years loving. They are ****ing on it without the courtesy of calling it rain. But the sandbox is fighting back, it will keep fighting back, and it will have answers. But if EVE does go P2W, it's the end of that, the end of the sandbox, and one of the great tragedies of our time. All because CCP lied to the players, ignores what they said, and never had the guts to tell us what they were planning.

For the hundred millionth time.
That titan was made in game by players with mined resources. Not conjured by an ingame shop.
I fail to see the relevance to this argument. I can buy isk for RM per CCP guidelines, and then buy myself a character. Empirically, where the character or isk comes from is truly irrelevant. What matters is the result: A one week old player can have a 100M SP Character and as many ships as they desire; all it takes is cash. That is the fact. Are you truly naive enough to believe that CCP does not manipulate what passes for an 'economy' in the game?
If you truly believe that this in-game economy is player driven, you are fooling yourself. This pseudo-economy is guided by players, but it is maintained, balanced and supported by CCP.
Simply put, RMT for in-game advantage is available NOW, and has been. You can try to dress it up however you like, but in the end that is the simple fact.
For the hundred million and first time: Simply put, conjuring titans and skillpoints from nowhere (for RM) negates the need of the EVE economy, hence industrialists, hence effort, hence sandbox is flushed down the toilet. The impact on EVE gameplay would be immense.

I mentioned this previously in a post a few pages ago. I would DEARLY love to do this but not sure if it wil detract from the message (as CCP doesn't talk about bannings etc publicly).
