I entered a petition about the heat issue with Incara, and CCP responded asking what driver Im using. How do I find out? Ive never loaded anything other than what comes from Apple with its regular updates. But the driver version does not seem to be listed in the "About this Mac" information. Where do I find it?

Respond to them telling them that you're on a Mac running whatever version of Mac OS X you have (e.g. 10.6.8) and that since the drivers are built into the OS, you're running whatever driver Apple supplies. ---- FREE Explorer Lead Megalomanic EVE Null-Sec Player Influence Map |

oi oi chap. Ive had a quick look at your specs this is what i have found. http://support.apple.com/kb/SP581 http://www.nvidia.co.uk/object/product_geforce_gt_330_uk.html your GC chipset supports SM4. but as apple provides all the drivers for there GC. If EVE is not working for you it means the driver has not got the SM4 part, I have had the same probs and working the issue too. Check my forum how i got it temporyaly working. http://www.eveonline.com/ingameboard.asp?a=topic&threadID=1534379 I know this is not the news you want to hear. But its not a hardware issue for you its a software prob. Any questions post it on my forum.
sorry mate

Thanks everyone.
Just so everyone knows, eve is completely playable for me. It just heats up my MBP. I use smcfancontrol and a fan base to help. But CCP did ask for us to tell them details about the issue, so I'm doing what I can.
