As much as i like the changes to the market since Exodus, i do feel that the market history has been severely crippled as a useful tool. The old market history had more features and i felt the statistics it returned much more useful. The ability to decide on the range, helped pin point market hotspots, and the ability to change the time scale was also a great help for working out average prics and long term trends.
Does anyone know why these features were removed, was it to reduce server load? Does anyone care, and/or agree/disagree?

Exodus still has these....look at the graph view, not that stupid table. The only thing I can see that the table is useful for is determining the actual number sold, although there can be multiple entries for one day (I've seen that), and though I think that's a bug, it's still something to deal with until they fix it.
The graph is a vast improvement over Castor, I think, with the moving averages (very useful for analyzing trends). I agree that changing the range should be added back, though. However, I sell in the hubs, and so I take the total and divide by two. I've yet to be disappointed by that. However, as for computing average prices, Exodus provides that for you over a 5 day range and a 20 day range. ________________________________ Therian Dreamscape Chief Financial Officer Director of Manufacturing and Sales |

to me the table lookslike it show orders placed, not numbers actually sold.

Is this a loaded question?
The market history pre-Exodus is a lot better because it actually worked
If the current system gets fixed and actually lets you see the market history for the system/const/region then it will be an improvement. _____________________________________________ I am motivated by various things, mostly ISK. |

Yes, like Droidster I'd prefer a Market History that showed what the pre-Exodus one did. NPC deals only is not useful at all, as my competitors are not NPCs.

I like the one with the table we have now, if only the damn thing worked in stead of showing useless bugged data most of the time

I prefer the pre exodus one. Assumeing both worked perfectly I could get more information out of the previous version. Present version merely tells me activity in a region.
