For the love of god, WHY. What the hell is the problem with letting us choose between the old hangar or CQ? This doesn't make any sense, at all.
I really would like an answer from CCP as to why they refuse to include the old hangar.
If you can't figure out the answer, there is no help for you.
HINT: Not having Incarna WiS / CQ affects their NEX sales drive.

Originally by: Zakua Corbin Not having a dock to hangar option is lame, I like CQ but I like hangar to. Just ruins the sense of urgency when u have to dock up from combat to grab some cap boosters and there's your lil toon, no goo, clean clothes, out of pod, then u hop right back into space....
ATLEAST give us a jog dial on the hologram inerface of our ship so we can spin the ship around from the balcony...
I'll live =) but I would love the option.
Oh and tell them to get ship paints on the NEX ASAP, I got lots of ships and money to spend...
Sorry, typos, in a hurry XOXOXO hahaaa
Yeah, we want Ship pants on the NEX ASAP.

To all those lolhopefulls that expect the CQ to be dropped for their old hanger. Think again.
Incarna is the underpinnings of their Microtransaction strategy, if they make it optional, they would be giving the option to not have MT's in their face.
MT's are here to stay, as a revenue boost (and probably a big driver in features as we have seen) for CCP (notice I didn't say Eve).
Optional Incarna is NOT going to happen.
As for the overheating, they can reduce the details in renderings, they can also debug the game render loop, perhaps it is doing something too frequent or something extra it shouldn't. That is why they asked for the dxconfig dumps so they can try to reproduce the issues. it could be the pipelines on some chips that they havn't accounted for or something in their shader code.
But Incarna is NOT going to be OPTIONAL EVER.
NEX is the main driver for Eve now.

Thats enough for me. No interest whatsoever in WIS or being forced to load the environment, I'm a spaceship not a ken doll. The last 7 years has been great fun and I'll miss a lot of people but the game is going where I do not wish to go. The last of my 8 accounts expires in 4 days.
bye.
You're thick to think that it would be optional in the firstplace.

So I guess that makes us ALL thick for believing anything CCP has stated in the past, such as "no MT in EVE" and "fixes" coming Soon (tm).
All of which have been stated by CCP in the past (cba to search/link right now).
Pretty much, Yes. Throughout all the releases, and all the PR, emails, newsletters, blogs not to mention all the people that said this was comming before it did. It has been VERY CLEARLY COMMUNICATED.

Originally by: verde shrimp Before this emergency CSM summit is over it would behoove CCP to strongly consider adding an option to board your ship in the hanger or default to ship spinning and have an exit to captain's quarters button.
Being forced into captain's quarters when docked is a very bad change and other than a number of new bugs introduced, the worst thing about incarna.
Yet more clueless wonders keep posting the same drivel about "optional" Incarna.

while I agree Miilla that to many of us its obvious the direction this has taken (forced CQ in order to produce MT) I think its also safe to say that the way Incarna was presented for the first few years was certainly that it was optional. So no, I dont agree with you that people are "thick" if they didnt conclude based on the past couple of week of events that CQ would be optional.
I do believe however that many of the players havent fully grasped yet that this is the first time that CCP has openly displayed such a disgregard (and even disrespect)for the player base, and if successful, will only increase
I belive they are thick at this stage to still post the same drivel about "optional" Incarna.
The business decision has been made, CSM stated that it was a "communication breakdown" that caused all you hopefulls to keep posting your drivel about "optional" Incarna.
That communication is being cleared up now, I think they are going to use sock puppets (CSM) to present it in easy bite sizes (baby spoons) for your consumption.

Originally by: Novak Sarin For the sake of clarity, can we please ELIMINATE "gold ammo" from the vocabulary completely?
The fact that one person said it does not make it "aka".
Yes that is being cleared up on DAY TWO. DAY TWO is where they focus on deciding the actual COLOUR of the ammo.

Originally by: Buck Plimpton Sounds like more subs will be let out to pasture lands. I hope they can come up with something of an agreement but it isn't really likely. The loss forever of ship spinning is a bigger issue than they realize it seems, I for one turned off CQ 5 minutes after it was online. Fingers crossed on a successful talk process!
By agreement, you mean how to "agree" a "Press Release" then yes, the CSM will proof read CCP's new blog, and then CCP will ignore their annotations and publish it anyway.
Agreement is easy.

Tomorrow, we will tackle the big question: Does CCP have plans to release game-affecting virtual goods (aka "gold ammo")?
A whole day to discuss this? Looks like the answer to "Will there be game changing items available for sale as an MT" is Yes.
Yes, getting an agreement on COLOUR is so hard. They have to get the PANTONE colour cards out, run outside to see the natural colour and not the flourescant effect or blueing effect.
It is like choosing a dress in a store, you have to see it in outside light first.

Originally by: Azztoroid If we block the trade hubs again for lets say more than a week, CCP needs to take direct action....Right now they have the entire world looking werry interestet uto how they will deal with this.
If just 50% of the numbers we had at the first round shows up, we would be able to criple the game to a point where prolonged actions needs to be countered.
I realy dont think CCP can afford more bad publicity, they need this situation solved, and the only way is to compremise, thats why we have the CSM there, thats why i support the CSM.
Let them eat, let the CSM spend abit time alone, they have been sitting to meetings the entire day, its first now they might get a chanse to speak amongs them selfs with out anyone from CCP are at there side......thats why we wait, thats why there is a deadline, to give the CSM time, to make sure THEY are unitet....

It would have been much easier if they could have just used the 'gold' they had originally planned on, but no... no one wanted GOLD.
CCP cannot afford GOLD, didn't you see their financials?
We could have BRASS, I don't mind brass, it looks like GOLD.

Why the F are everybody ranting about ship spinning? There are far more important things to get fixed jezz.
My god, lets waste a part of a discussion day on ship spinning.
If you want to spin your ship, UNDOCK. The ship spins automatically in the CQ dock why would I want to spend time spinning it?
They should fix CQ / WiS first before ship spinning, the entire UI is laggy and cloggy not to mention a bbq.

Remember Live Events? They became too costly, and thus Incursions was born. Live events was replaced by a simple AI / random (which seems to ignore Minmatar constellations) Constellation selector script with a Journal tab added.

Originally by: Illadelph Justice Ship spinning SHOULD be the easiest point of compromise for CCP. I mean, jesus, its something that's already been in the damn game.
Sure, you get a jog dial on the CQ Dock panel to spin your ship.
In return, you have to accept YELLOW AMMO, SKILL BOOSTER PACKS, YELLOW SHIPS, IMPLANT BOOSTERS and more.

I was hoping the CSM would possibly accomplish something and it wasn't just a public relations stunt, but this, to me, confirms my suspicions. Explain it awayyyy CCP/CSM explain it alllll awayyyyyyyy.
"CSM got a complete rundown on the overall CCP vanity goods strategy"
It is the rundown on the non-vanity items they DID NOT give the CSM that is a worry.
It is what the CCP are NOT telling the CSM that you have to wonder.
Notice they said "vanity" items. Yeah, ofcourse we are not going to mind that.

Miila stop using large and/or colored fonts in your posts just to try to make people notice them. It won't help much anyway. The new forums allow people to block trolls/idiots on demand. No one will see your posts then anyway.

I feel 5% is a coverall number. You can hope all you like it is much higher, but your numbers don't add up.
360,000 subs according to the financials no?
What we have seen is the knee-jerking unsubs. There is still the pole-dancer unsubs in a day or so and during patching..
Then there is the last light on unsubbers to follow as the game becomes meh due to lack of population.

When do we get CCP Points to spend every month, or purchase.
Like Turbine points or Cryptic Points.
