Quote: @MaxSingularity We did discuss ship spinning with CCP and what I heard pleased me. One of the bright spots. Can't say details. vOv
It pleased him. Doesn't mean a dang thing since we don't know how he feels about it - pro-spin or no-spin. These tweets are BS (and I don't mean battleship)
Yes the whole thing is a load of hogwash. CSM is in CCPs hip pocket.

If just 50% of the numbers we had at the first round shows up, we would be able to criple the game to a point where prolonged actions needs to be countered.
I realy dont think CCP can afford more bad publicity, they need this situation solved, and the only way is to compremise, thats why we have the CSM there, thats why i support the CSM.
Let them eat, let the CSM spend abit time alone, they have been sitting to meetings the entire day, its first now they might get a chanse to speak amongs them selfs with out anyone from CCP are at there side......thats why we wait, thats why there is a deadline, to give the CSM time, to make sure THEY are unitet....

Nobody cares, until you start GANKING FREIGHTERS NON STOP IN AND OUT OF JITA.
You have to hit all 4 hubs AND EVE wide MTgeddon. You have to discourage the key problem directly.
I feel the need to go buy a lot of player produced hulls.... recommendations on gank fits?

As most of the ppl around, I couldn't care less about prices of stupid Barbie clothing. No more station ship spinning was kind of expected, it's bad decision but I think I can live with that too. What I want to hear before I decide what to do with this game is CCP's definite and CLEAR answer about gameplay-impacting stuff (ammo, ships, modules, implants etc) that could be bought directly for RL money, independently from ingame market.

Want to bet that the NeX store is meant to have stuff from a dime-necklace and all the way up to monocles in time, but that CCP in all their wisdom chose to start with the high-end .. contrary to everything history has taught us (hook them, then gouge them)?
The old hangar view will probably not be coming back as it used the old graphics system if I recall, plan is to move everything onto the carbon platform I think. Might be recreated with similar functionality though, or even just dump people onto the walkway in CQ instead of at the couch (I just want to be able to run multi-clients and have easy access to ships/cargo, backdrop is irrelevant to me).
@pitchfork people (rednecks also have pitchforks, coincidence?): CSM are not there to make demands or influence the game in a big way, they are there because you were acting like idiots and everything said was instantly misrepresented to fit your warped reality. They are our ears only in this case, so by all means if you want to chop your ears off in the hope of never hearing anything you might not like then go ahead, waiting for outcome is for sissies and flip-floppers!

"We at CCP are wearing pairs of $1,000 jeans from some exclusive Japanese boutique shop. We look like the sad culmination of vainness because what we choose to do reflects what we are and what we want others to think we are."
"I am sorry. There are certain questions you want answered and there isn't room for more error in our communication on those topics or our perception of the root causes. Due to the volatility of the topic we want to refrain from any further comments."

Remember Live Events? They became too costly, and thus Incursions was born. Live events was replaced by a simple AI / random (which seems to ignore Minmatar constellations) Constellation selector script with a Journal tab added.

They deployed the graphics before Incarna. Hanger worked just fine.
Rednecks have never carried pitchforks (farmers did, but they are the original rednecks, not the group of people you are trying to use to abuse others with). Rednecks carry guns..

Fewer players + the same money = less lag? Fewer players = less blobage? Fewer players = no lag in Jita?
Sounds like CCP can drop quite a few birds with one stone, and still claim to do more for the players...

Sure, you get a jog dial on the CQ Dock panel to spin your ship.
In return, you have to accept YELLOW AMMO, SKILL BOOSTER PACKS, YELLOW SHIPS, IMPLANT BOOSTERS and more.

Me, I was developing an Eve SDK and 2 other apps building upon that, and 2 others at design stage. The Sdk would have made building Eve apps a walk in the park, just glue em together.

Damnit, I can tell just by the tone of their tweets etc that we are gonna get screwed.
I mean - a plate of fish and a coach class ticket from those cold Vikings and you roll over? Whose team are you guys on? You're not CCP employees - you're John Q Starship. Remember that while you're on your knees in Iceland.
This sucks man, I can't believe you think partial answers with a "can't talk about it" would be sufficient? Don't give me the NDA story - we're playing well past that now. Real answers make this all go away; and time has been, and continues to be, a factor.
I think the CSM plays no real role in our spaceship world, they exist only to be caressed by CCP and sent back to us bearing a smile and a plate full of bad news.
RIP EvE: May 6th, 2003 - June 1st, 2011, ashes to ashes, pods to pods.
You emm effers disgust me,
Koba

Trebor stated:
"CSM got a complete rundown on the overall CCP vanity goods strategy, and it became obvious how a series of mistakes and communications breakdowns -- both internal at CCP, to CSM, and in their messaging to you (and lack thereof) -- resulted in the NEX rollout debacle."
I was hoping the CSM would possibly accomplish something and it wasn't just a public relations stunt, but this, to me, confirms my suspicions. Explain it awayyyy CCP/CSM explain it alllll awayyyyyyyy.

It is the rundown on the non-vanity items they DID NOT give the CSM that is a worry.
It is what the CCP are NOT telling the CSM that you have to wonder.
Notice they said "vanity" items. Yeah, ofcourse we are not going to mind that.

Yea, of course...just a few mistakes...they never meant it right?
Bahh...the way the tweets sound CCP did a good job rolling them over. Just confuse them with some nice numbers that fit your argument (difficult to argue against if you don't have numbers), then tell them that everything is just a mistake and they still love us...and the real important stuff...well we do that...just before the ending of the meeting when EVERYONE is in a HURRY right?

Originally by: Typhoon Warfreak The more I read these post (by the same people), the more I see it as mindless mob mentality. Why? What more do you want CSM and CCP to do? The way the behaviour is on this forum, people (the minority as well), are demanding CCP bend to their will.
Look at this from a whole unsubscriber point of view. Let say that the total revenue lost from unsubs was 1mil. Their total revenue (outdated figures), from 2008 was 46mil. Let say that currently, CCP is making 40mil a year. See where their 1mil loss is coming in? Sure, it is a sting, but you are not making a big enough dent to be heard. If it was a 20mil loss, different story.
The protestors on this forum have an air of self-importance, as if EVE should bend to their will. Do this, that, this, that, then I'll resub. Really? Your $132 for the year isn't even enough to pay the wages of a staff member for a day. Why should you get special treatment?
And all these references to WW2 Germany towards CCP. Really? Is this the level of maturity we have reached? Where all we can do is insult people using terms that normally, in real life, would have us beaten on the floor.
I'm against pay to win. I support microstransaction in that they are vanity items only, and economy-involved for non-vanity (BPC, trade ins). I will not support ships appearing out of thin air. Personally, I thought EVE was a game with smart players. I guess I'm wrong to some extent.
The end message is, change is going to happen whether we like it or not, only question is, are you going to accept it and move on, or just keep denying, hands over heads, and live in the past.
Yea Ok I understand how you feel - people are raging and giving the CSM a hard time. Why? Because CCP gave us the finger with their responses and besides raging and yelling on the forums and in Jita or unsubbing, the CSM is our only real practical way to demand that CCP not ruin their game for a few more bucks. When after the 1st DAY of talking to CCP very very little is ACTUALLY accomplished when their whole goal is to talk to CCP to get answers - we have basically zero right now, other than another 'fu' about station spinning. So yea, we're frustrated. But yes, let's see what tomorrow brings and the CSM still have time to accomplish something, but stand up for us CSM, FFS!
Also, if you're currently un-subbed and not playing the game how can you claim to see the perspective of the players who have tried CQ? Unless of course I mis-read your post -which is possible- I don't think sitting on the sidelines really gives you a very good perspective of what CQ is like for a player-who-IS-using-it.
