Edited by: Casarani on 04/07/2011 23:11:11 Edited by: Casarani on 04/07/2011 23:10:10 Hey guys, this is just a random little side project I have considered.
I was wondering how you could go about fitting an Augoror as a Support/Logistics ship for general level 3/(maybe 4?) mission running in a small gang, obviously I'm aware of the bonus being secluded to Energy Transfer, but would there be any use for shield/armor transferers at all? Also how would you make use of the drone slot in this case. Even if it's a lost cause any ideas would be appreciated. :)
Is there even a chance that a Harbinger could be used in a support role? Maybe with shield repair drones and the like.
I might be clutching at straws but I'm desperate to ease into Logistics/Support Role for general gang mission running and any extra advice/ideas would be greatly appreciated, until I train for the Guardian. Thanks!

This is feasible for PVP, and PVE designed for groups (wormholes & Incursions)
For missions tho .. all you need to do it warp in Drake. Drake tanks. Every other ship can just be a gank platform for maximum profit.
The Augoror is a pointless ship though, really. It will work terribly, terribly for a logistics ship (armour / shield).
The only T1 logistics role I can really see anyone finding a use for with vanilla missions is a Scythe running tracking links. Also? I just tricked you into reading my signature. |

I used to use a osprey with a low SP alt to remote shield repair my loki with small c-types. The midslot that used to have a shield booster now had a bonused web. Made killing faction pirate frigs a breeze. _______________________ The best thing in EvE is Barrage M. |

An Arbitrator will serve you better as a logistics support ship while flying L3/L4 missions. It can carry a few flights of T2 medium drones, so pack two sets of combat drones (eg: Valkyries and Vespas) along with medium shield or armour drones (whatever the rest of the fleet is using).
The Arbitrator itself can be fitted with a couple of unbonused energy or RR modules, pack enough tank to take care of itself, and squeeze a cap recharger into the mix. I used to fly an Osprey with S95a shield transfers to support a friend who was flying battleships with less-than-ideal skills.
As the rest of the fleet gets better at doing their thing, you can graduate into more DPS, less logistics.
