hi
i would like to hear your oppinion and advice, what should i do with mission loot - how to turn it quickly into isk
it's like 2h of running missions and than 1h loong loong boring sorting, reselling, reprocesing etc...
what are you doing with your loot ? i want to spend less time by checking item type, lvl, price, comparing if it is worth to sell it directly, or put it into market or to reprocess it
thx

- Process/sell loot only after doing a large number of missions and accumulating enough loot to make it worthwhile (think 40-50 missions and upwards). - Use an external tool to compare refined value and sale prices. I'm using EVE Refinery for this, but I'm sure there are several more tools available.

Basicly what is said above me. Most missions drop the same loot. So once you do a lot of missions and stack all, that 1hr isn't as big of a deal.

If it's taking you 2 hrs to level 4 mission you're doing it wrong.
You should be able to do 2-3 level 4s - then duck back with the Noctis and hoover it all up. After a month or two, sell the juicy bits whilst watching TV, reproc the rest.

Once a week or so I load all my loot and salvage (minus what I use for my own research and industry ops) into my freighter, and head to the nearby trade hub. So my advice is not to waste time trying to sell everything immediately. Save it up till you can sell a bunch at once. If nothing else you won't have enough sell order slots left if you sell after every mission. So hold onto it a while, then sell in bulk.
Later on once your refining and scrap metal skills are high enough, you might find it more worthwhile to reprocess lower level T1 loot for the minerals. But be careful not to reprocess expensive meta level mods. -- Frog blast the vent core! |

I reprocess most of it, save for most meta4 gear. I drop that into a container and trade it to my alt in Jita once a month.
You may miss a few ISK from some overpriced meta3 buy orders, but generally the time you saved will earn more money (and hopefully fun) in other business ventures.

thank you for your advices
about reprocessing i have reprocessing skill on lvl5, do i need any other skill to train for maximalizing resource gain from those items (not ores / mining minerals) ? or i'm fine with just reprocess 5

Edited by: Teya Ihara on 06/07/2011 18:10:27 Station containers, 3 of them.
When finished salvaging change the Noctis cargo to list view, add the meta level column, sort by that, select all Meta 4 and drop in "loot" station can.
Quickly look through Meta 3's and see if anything jumps out as potentially expensive, and check them if you really feel its necessary. Add any potential money makers to loot can.
Grab everything else and put it in the hangar. Select all salvage and put in "Salvage" Can. Select everything else, reprocess, place in 'minerals' can. Remaining stuff (tags, AI drone crappy things, anything else that doesn't reprocess goes in the loot can.
Once a month add everything to general freight containers, contract to your favorite shipping service for transport to nearby trade hub, then contract over to trade alt for sale.
Its not max profit, but TBH I don't need to be sorting a bunch of crap when I could be out killing more.
Edit: add a 4th can for your ship mods for changing between missions (hardners, ABs, etc)
