Hi. I've recently returned to Eve after long period and became an active player, due to unknown problam(still haven't got an answer on Bug Report i gave) my 400 dollars GTX570 can't run the game while my 9800GT can. Why? That's all i ask. Why i can play on 4 years-old computer and and on high-end computer bought 5 days ago it crashes? I'm asking CCP to help me fix this problam so i can return playing the game i like.
Or atleast help me figure out why it happens. This mark the 4th day i can't play on my computer.
So, CCP. Anyone can help?

Anyone *could* help, but you don't exactly give enough information for someone to even START helping.
First off, have you searched through the forums for anyone having similar problems?
Second how about you give some details on the problem:
WHY is EVE not working? Describe the problem please, what you've tried/haven't tried to do to fix it
Finally instead of whining lets get the *important* details from you:
- what the problem is, including steps to reproduce the issue
- what version of Windows are you running
- what version of the graphics drivers are you using
- a little more detail on the computer please; CPU/RAM have you overclocked etc.
Answer those *basic troubleshooting* questions and we're take it from there.

Are you sure it's stable? ;P Sometimes overclocking causes strange issues, but only very occasionally. Run prime95 64bit edition in torture test mode for 12hours, to check.

Try disabling your overclock. Overclocking can cause problems

Apart from getting lucky with some community feedback, this forum section has only some minor value for communicative efforts with CCP. The last act of interaction on their part about anything at all was made about a week ago, as far as I'm able to find anyway. |

"The known issues forum is meant to give you a place to ask questions and get help, from your fellow eve players, with problems or bugs that you encounter with EVE. If you've found a solution to a problem please post it here. "
So basically the idea is that the community can help eachother build up a knowledge base for basic problems and how to work around them. If you require customer support you can always file a petition under the "Technical" category.
What comes to mind is:
Can you elaborate a bit on how it crashes? Does it show you an error message? Have you tried running logserver.exe (located in the eve folder) and then running the client to see what the logs say? Or tried running the client in safemode (also located in the eve folder)? Have you tried clearing your cache and settings? http://support.eveonline.com/Pages/KB/Article.aspx?id=371. Have you double checked that there is no forced Anti Aliasing turned on?

Edited by: Doomhammar on 08/07/2011 04:41:03 Edited by: Doomhammar on 08/07/2011 04:39:41 CCP, for your questions, then yes. I've tried reinstalling the game, i've tried another user, i've tried reinstalling everything i can think off, turned off all graphic to lowest possible, removed caches and all other stuff. As for the error part, i've sended a file in Bug Report that remain unanwered for almost a week. If any other information is lacking please do tell me. After all i am paying for this game and for last week or so i've been unable to play. All i want is somone from tech support reach out for me with some hand for help.
You people made the game afterall.
As for elaborating how it crashes its very simple. One or two times i try per a daya it manage to load the station my char currently in and in other times it simply crashes when i try to load the character itself from character window after check in after the game load up.
Understand that this is a new computer and the game worked fine for several days, that's what wierd. I haven't changed anything on comp everything up to date tried loading the game with Windows 7/VISTA or XP Mode to no effect.
Any other question you'd like to ask do tell .As for what error i'm getting its simply says that Program crashed and windows had to abort the game. And it no longer bound to one spot in the game i've manage to check on all different places(when i logged from a friend's comp) but it still crashes so its not a single-place problam.
So, any thoughts onwhat missing?(Got, DX9, DX11, even installed EVE DX from Bin folder)And yes even on safe mode it crashes.
Also, where can i check this forced Anti Aliasing? I have GTX 570 1280MB card in my comp. Please help
