Tried to sell a single PLEX, slightly over the price at which it would sell immediately (364M instead of 356M). Result: PLEX removed from inventory, broker fee subtracted from account, warning popped up: no buyer found. PLEX doesn't show up in any sale orders. Seems to have vanished. What the heck is going on?!

You used the "advanced" interface instead of the "simple" interface, so it put up an "instant" sell order that expired instantly (it really shouldn't work like that, but apparently it does - if you would have used the "simple" interface this wouldn't have happened). Expired sell orders have the items returned to the hangar only after the next downtime. So you'll get your PLEX back in about half a day from now. Next time, whenever you want to sell to buy orders, sell with the simple interface, and if you put up a sell order, ALWAYS put it up for 90 days (and cancel it manually if you want to). _

Thx a lot - I already feared that I had to petition it or write it off!

Slightly incorrect,
Expiration time trigered droped orders are handled with a batch process,(so that many are basiclay processed at the same time) occasionaly it will fire off durring uptime, just dont count on it happening as its a low priority.
that and the later in the day it is the less likely it is that you will see your items back. In the past I had noted that any ordered I goffed up within an hour of uptime took 8+ hours to clear and return the Items to the hanger.
.End of line.

Interesting. Didn't know that. But like you said, you probably shouldn't rely on it happening before the next DT. _
