And you've been told for days now that the only reason it seems like a bad idea is because you're not adapting to the varying scenarios that you encounter. Your supposed problem becomes a complete non-issue if you fit your ship correctly.
The issue I keep pressing is why you are so adamantly against this notion of adapting; why you don't think the existing tools are sufficient; and why you don't want the variety? You haven't really answered any of thoseà ùùù ôWe want to try this thing called micro-transactions, but we don't know what it is. Can anyone explainà aw screw it, let's just do it! I agree with the OP. Missions have too many meaningless timesinks. Too long distances to travel in missions and between, too many rats to shoot, too many mission objectives to pick up, too much time to wait for the missiles to hit, drones to attack, warp tunnel to end, skills to finish. I would just prefer if I didn't have to undock at all and could just press butan and receev isk from my agent.

Fine, let's go with a change for the sake of change, but leaves him in the same position.
Disable warp to distance for deadspace. (Much like the current accelerator gates already do.) Give them all some instalock and warp scrambling NPCs, and then put everything on the same grid, but far enough away that you would be better off warping between the distant objects (again, only able to warp at zero) rather than slow boat. Now, to blitz missions, instead of killing the unlock NPC and MWD to the gate, you fit stabilizers, then kill enough of the scrambling NPCs to warp to the mission areas you need. Oh, wait, he'll still have to swap out modules to suit the mission...
But... Ta da! The acceleration gates are gone! :)
