1. I never understood the Quafe Zero scams. People appeared to be offering ridiculous amounts of ISK for Quafe Zero. What was the deal?
2. Does Quafe Zero have any value now? |

Edited by: Eladanus on 08/07/2011 09:54:42 1. People offering huge amounts would be invariably in nullsec. People who accept the contract then go there to deliver and are blown up by the scammer en route. (I assume)
2. Check contracts. |

Basically. The big thing is that they have to deliver to stations where people have sov/access rights, and you can't dock (ie: cant complete the contract). So you're stuck in their space trying to dock like an idiot, and yes, they shoot you.

1 - Depends what your definition of ridiculous amounts is - to a new player a mill is a ridiculous amount, to an old player its loose change. - if its around 2 to 6 mill per unit its real, if its widely over this then its probably a bit sus - check to see if its a buy or sell, if its a sell make sure is not Quaf Ultra you aree buying instead, check volume and check under your bed as well ..
2 - Yes its does have value - as above, currently around 2 to 6 mill per unit depending if you go with a sell or buy order - check contracts for a more up to date value and value will vary depending on region and market sold |

Then what's stopping someone who has docking rights from buying a bunch in Jita, hauling it there and making a nice profit?
To the OP, I would check if it is really a WTB contract, and not just a WTS with a changed name. The "scammer" wants you to pay a huge amount for his Quafe. |

The fact it's his own WTB order. |
