First time MD poster, long time lurker. I've been getting into trading recently and have been hitting a wall with my working capital (currently 800M or so). I've been doing quite well with my trading, and a recent opportunity has opened up in my main trade hub that I want to exploit, hence the loan request.
I will be using the loan largely for in-station trading, although I may ship some goods in from Jita if the price differential gets much higher. I have the ability to mission run a lot (student on break, helps with .01 price wars too), so in the worse-case scenario where prices drop a dramatic amount, I can easily make up the 100-150M or so losses.
Summary -1b ISK -1 Month from ISK received -5% interest |

Why is it every bond offer from a first time MD poster gets qualified by the 'long time lurker' line? Maybe it's just a copy paste...
Good luck at 5%. You will probably have to bump that up a bit for an uncollateralised loan to a new face. Also, it's a trading bond, the profits from which should be substantial (easy to double that billion in a month), so it is not unreasonable to be expected to go to 10% or even higher. |

I suppose it is to add an aura of respectability to the post.
The 5% was based off a similar small (500M) loan offer that was accepted a little while back. I gauge the reaction to the loan offer before I think about changing the rate, but thanks for the advice. |

Char is six years old, so I'd have to ask what have you been doing for that six years that leaves you in a position where you can only put your hands on 800m? Doesn't appear to be pvp as best I can tell from killboards. |

Been somewhat off and on with playing, and I haven't ever really moved beyond missioning/0.0 ratting to make a decent amount of isk with assorted pvp losses and corp stuff (which is why its so great to finally be making a decent amount now). |

If you were to offer 10% your interest liability would be less than 3m per day which is a piffling amount compared with the profits a good(and ofc genuine) trader can make with 1b capital. |

The best aura of respectability would come from a very solid prospectus, maybe a presentation, maybe a discussion thread where you show your plans. |

I suppose I don't really want to go into that much detail re. what exactly I'm trading, trade secrets and all. I suppose I can say that the buy/sell turn around averages at around 2 days, with a mark up of roughly 30%. The volumes can be a little erratic though (partly the reason why I'm in the market, its not all that crowded), so I guess theirs some risk there, but as I've said, I can quite easily make up the interest and some potential losses from price falls with missions.

Notes to the poster: This bond is identical to loan amount and interest rate for my recent one, but you'll notice I had trouble filling it, despite previous business experience. You've offered no collateral, offered a plan only for a small loss, so for your benefit:
Ask for a smaller amount; or Offer a higher interest rate;
Also you should:
1. Plan for a worst case scenario (what happens if you ship out some stuff from jita, and the shipment gets suicided and you loose the goods). How will you pay back this 1bn loan?
2. Get an audit by a third party, or find something to collateralize your loan, and do so via a third party.
