I mean "many"... I think I am sitting on 9 or 10 thousand shuttles.
I don't think I've made any isk so far.
but yeah shuttles.
I bought Trit... I made shuttle. I put shuttle on the market for 25,000 I sold two in six weeks.
250 million isk in only... 1,562 years and six months.
So glad I did production... WTF
Edited: removed ALOT, though cute i suppose it is grammatically incorrect.

And that sir, is the root of your problem.
I try to never pay more than 10,000 for one, and can usually pod-travel a few jumps and get one.

you can make money with shuttles. you just have to sell them in bulk in the mission hubs that are not exactly on the beaten path, (people do grab a few so they can fly out for whatever reason in a ship with decent speed to it) .End of line.

Posting in a Tom Gerard thread just because he likes listening to himself speak aloud or in this case, type just because he can and see results of his attention whoring ability.

Location is key when shifting shuttles. 20k is cheap, compared to where I've seen them in low and null. Move shuttles out to more dangerous space, where people need them more.

^ THIS POST makes sense. Find where shuttles are either in-demand or at ridiculous prices, and compete at ridiculous prices!

I would never purchase a shuttle for that price. I would pod flight before that price was payed from my wallet for a shuttle. I wont pay more than 12k for a shuttle. Thats like putting an charon on the market for 2bil and wondering why it wont sell.

You're in the minority. I've made a good profit selling shuttles in lowsec. The only problem is the isk-effort ratio being extremely low with T1 haulers.

Why would you build that many without testing the market first?

I fly past the system every few days and refresh the build. Been about eight months now.

I rarely use shuttles. For 25k I can get an atron/executioner/condor/slasher.
Same 6 au/sec warp, and much more cargo space.
I suppose the high shuttle base speed might be useful for afk moving. However, fit a couple ODs on an Atron, or an AB/MWD (with something holding the key down), and you have something much better than a shuttle.
Once a player is more than about a month old, will they really care if their ship costs 8k, or 80k, if they are going to be using it for travelling more than a few jumps given the ISK/hour?

Shuttles are a known quantity, however. Any 1-month old player knows the stats of a shuttle.
If I'm somewhere and I need to get home fast and AFK, I'll go for something I know, which is any model of Shuttle, rather than some obscure T1 Frigate or Destroyer whose performance stats I am not familiar with. (I know the Kestrel and Merlin, but neiher of those are particiarly cheap).
Still, it's all about location. Assuming the OP is serious, he needs to find a location where shuttles aren't already being sold, and move some to there, and put them up for sale. Sometimes it's just about putting shuttles available in a popular station (e.g. Caldari Navy) even if they are being sold from other stations in the same system. Don't underestimate player laziness. But the ideal is to be the sole shuttle provider in an entire system.

This is good advice. You're giving up too easily. Put a shuttle in every station in your region that doesn't already have one and sell it for whatever you want. You'd be surprised how much people are willing to pay to save time. Or take a hit and unload them and put your money elsewhere.

Last evening, a corpmate moving ships needed a shuttle, and noted that they were 100k ISK in that system. He still bought one.
Location! Location! Location!
