We don't have any "favorite" RPers, people. Anyone who shows up to an event and makes an honest attempt at interacting with us in character has a good chance of getting pulled into the story line.
You're absolutely correct, though: Role-playing in EVE needs a major boot up the ass. Your boot, your ass. Let's see what you've got, EVE community! :)

It's a great video; thanks for making it! If I had my way (and lots of money), that Chemical Brothers song ("Container Park") would be the official song of Sansha's Nation.

Originally by: Buzzmong Edited by: Buzzmong on 18/07/2011 18:57:36 how on earth do you actually find out about the live events before/as they're happening.
Some events have warnings, but most of them are rather spontaneous. There are some tricks to being in the right place at the right time, though:
* Sansha events are happening a lot more often in incursion regions * Faction Warfare events are going down in... well... faction warfare systems. Also, certain players in certain NPC corporations get advanced notification... guess which? :) * The forums are also a great place to find out where and when some events are going to happen. Cheating again, its like watching Hydra all over again...
Live events are not "players versus CCP."
If you notice anything happen during a live event that seems to fall outside the rules and game mechanics players must abide by, rest assured it's to perpetuate the story, not to win a fight.
