ok. this thread is started because here i haven't got good enough answer. Well. I got one idea i will try next time (about bubbles near the gate).
However here is the question.
Story: one more boring evening... Carebears are ratting, mining, chatting. Nothing to do really before sleep. Occasionally.... Intel channel gives info: we have neutral/red (or 2) incoming. Ship(s) unknown. ALARM! ALERT! OMG! WE ALL GONNA DIE!
OK. Now the question to smart people (i see there is some of them around this forum). What should lazy carebear who became bored and want to pew-pew do now? Options: 1. Say "**** him" in chat and continue watching **** and chatting (we choose this option 99% of time) 2. Take some ship and undock in hope to meet enemy. 3. ???
In the thread i linked above we went with result "no way to meet neutral/red when you undock in drake and go to gates because pvp-ers are so ***** to loose anything so they will not engage you unless you are in Iteron or Hulk".
And once again: no one in this corp will organize fleet with logi/tackling/boosting/triage carriers/titan bridges/cluster crashes. Maximum 2-3 bored carebears will undock and try to pew-pew.
So the question: what to do in situation like this?

Obviously, find a different corp. ---

You say these "pvpers" only attack industry ships?
Put a bait ship in a belt (hulk, coveter, w/e).
When PVP wannabe pilot shoots at it... have the bait point him and then jump in or log on the pilots right next to the bait.

I would strongly advise docking up your pve ship and getting into a pvp ship at the very least.

So you say you want to pvp, and then proceed to ask if you should pvp or dock up?
If your goal is to prevent them from coming to you again, dock up. If you want to pvp, switch to pvp ship.

nope. i like corp i'm in now. I'm a lazy person who sometimes enjoys risk. And i'm not interested in roams and other "pvp-like" stuff pvp corps do.

usually you haven't enough time to prepare. They appear from nowhere 5 jumps away and 10 minutes after leave this place. And people have better ideas how to spend time instead of making traps....

it doesn't work. they (enemies) simply run if they see drake of scan

so you say i should have pack of ships prepared to pvp to engage occasional enemy came to me???
guys really. i tried to write as completely as i can. Is it really difficult to read and understand my question?

What you are complaining about is that visiting roaming gangs do not stick around to fight you. If your intention is to have a fight when the opportunity arises rather than putting any effort into going on a roam yourself then yes, provide a seemingly 'even' fleet composition so they engage.
Also poo-pooing peoples bait tactics because you have better things to do.... this is a way to get the fights you are complaining about NOT getting. You make no sense.
This is precisely the reason people assumed you were being a dumb troll in the other thread.

Considering the way you write, yes. ~~~

Don't ask the question if you don't like it.
Basically what you want is if a pvp-er comes in that they: wait for you to swap ships. Then go sit somewhere still. Then have you shoot them till their ship blows up.
Buddy, that's not how it works, effort is required.

find a new corp, i did and will never regret it.. leaving friends behind is hard, but you can still chat with them in public or on comms, and you'll have a lot more fun flying with like-minded people who want to play the same game you do. OK. Thanks to all who gave answers.
This is not what i wanted to get. What have i really wanted to get is: - the reasons why people go roam if they don't want to fight (and possibly lost shiny ship and nice KB stat) - the reasons why "hunters" take dramiels/cynabals to roam in carebear regions where you only can find drakes (drake is cheap and fast to train so no problem to try and loose it). Mainly this question is for dramiels: what want you kill with dram in 0.0 space? Occasional hulk/Iteron/pod/shuttle?
Well this is Eve. And there is a lot of games for pew-pew if you really want it (i use Counter-Strike). So it's ok.

omfg learn to type damn it, my head hurts ffs.
anyway, with what I can decipher with my enigma machine (crappy old thing). dramiels are strong ships... lots of mission running drakes in mission hubs badly fit their ships so it could be enough to kill one. thats why. Your first question makes no sense but I guess it's to have fun idk really. --------------------------------------------------

Why do you think that Hunters in eve would ever stand still and fight, that isn't ever going to happen. My rule is that if it's a fair fight you aren't a good pvper, always have the advantage and never let the enemy get organized.
The reason they use the dramiels is because of it's amazing disengage factor combined with a great tank and awesome dps (for a frigate). Either you learn to beat them by setting traps, or you die by there hand.

False, yeah a drake is easy to get into but not fast to train for if you want to fly it without gimping it, which you already are doing by trying to fly it on char that is gimped with "induztrial skillz"
The reasons they pick on you in unbalanced loldramiels and other Angel ships and the usual Vagabonds is ....because, speed/dps and GTFO.
Solution: device a tactic and think outside the box. This entails coming up with a ship fitting combo to counter the assailants modus operandi. Baiting etc is only the beginning.. Don't show your tactics on the forums.
