Edited by: Blackjhak on 20/07/2011 06:51:39 Hey there,
I'm going to move into C6 WH in a couple of month. Before that I just max the important skills and get stuff together (Ships, POS,etc) My plan is going on Sisi before starting on Tranquilty and test various setups.
Why I'm posting here right now ist to ask experienced C& players to their opinions for the most efficient setup.
Best tactics I heard so far is 3 - X Tengus to kill Initial Spawn +1 Carrier for Esca 1 +1 Dread for Esca 2 +1 Carrier for Esca 3 +1 Dread for Esca 4
Would you do this the same way? Are there more efficient ways doing the sites ? Maybe with jammers, Rorqual, or something else...
I'd really appreciate it if you guys spend me some wisdom. It would save lot of time on sisi for me.
Thx in advance and fly safe o/

If your using either/and RR Tengus and Caps, dw about bringing ECM ships. Rorqual is nice if you dont want an esca but want a capital shield transfer/s.
For tactics, best to try them all out, see what works best for you (dependign on skills, no pilots etc.) RR Tengus work great, but using capitals to cause escal is well worth it {from what i've heard}. Im only knowledgable in using tengus to run sites though.

pretty much spot on dude. With the idea of cfficiency on mind, bring a full fleet of Tengus and as you're finishing up w/ a spawn have them reship and escalate. A loki pilot w/ web/painter is well worth it as well. Also, it is probably best if you bring the 2 carriers for the first 2 escalation and then bring the dreads on siege. Escalation #1 - carrier, setup for repping Escalation #2 - Revelation Escalation #3 - Revelation Escalation #4 - carrier, setup for dps
The idea is to have the dreads in as soon as possible, as properly setup they hit Guardians for about 6k/volley on average. The first carrier does all the repping, so it should be fit with dual sensor boosters, scripts for scan resolution, and a automated targeting system II so it can lock everybody in the squad.
The subcaps must keep each other alive until the site is cleared, and the first carrier warps in and gets initial lock, but after that they really don't have to worry about repping unless the carrier pilot isn't paying attention.

Edited by: Mr Majestyk on 20/07/2011 15:51:06 Seems to me that 3 tengus won't be able to survive at a c6 site with the neuts and raw DPS. Also the escalation wave from any capital will kill your carrier even with the tengus on it.
My rough estimate is that an escalation wave puts out maybe 3000-5000 dps.
But would be extremely interested in your results.

Expect 2-3 sub-caps to be neuted dry at any time. Capitals will only cap-out if the pilot screws-up and leaves reppers on when not being attacked.
Nobody has to tank 3000-5000 DPS forever. Just until the Sleepers switch targets.
For example, armor tanked Revelations tend to mostly shield tank escalations in a C5, as they rarely hit armor before the Sleepers switch targets.

Well, thanks for answers so far.
But how will the initial spawn be fought? With a few Tengus ? Or should the 1. carrier join immediatly, triage and rep like sonofa*****?
But the answers sounds good to me so far :)

Unless you have a fleet set up and experienced in doing the C6 sites there is no reason to escalate right from the beginning. In fact, thats a good way to get ships popped (they cycle targets...). 3 Tengus for a C6 site is a terribad idea -- I mean outside of just tanking the dps, where is the cap xfer? Dreads are minimally useful. I would rather take another carrier for extra cap/shield and let subcap handle spawns (for safety at first until you get the hang of the sites/escalation). Basically, to sum it up: If you're new to it, take it safe first, then work on efficiency. Also, don't smoke crack and take 3 lubed tengus into a sleeper gangbang.
