It's 110 here.
I'm reminded of a song you guys made a while back. The chorus seems very appropriate right now
And when are we getting more Chronicles?!?

It's 14C/57F here right now. It's only 2-3 degrees from a major heatwave.

Is there by any chance a printed version of all Eve Chronicles out there? I would definitely buy that. In case the answer is no, is it recommended to read them in a particular order from the website, or are they not chronological anyway?

Woah...gone forever? I read that blog when it came out and that's not the impression I got, so I went and looked again and found this:
"We'll publish the last one (not the last one forever, but the last one for a little while) just after Xmas...."
So which is it? Gone for good, or just for the time being? ~Gnosis~ |

The best person to answer your questions, Brax, is currently on vacation, but I'll do my best to answer your questions :)
The early Chronicles are actually the old "Peeks of the Week," little snippets about the EVE universe (e.g. Fedos) that we published before the game went live. Over time, the POTW morphed into Chronicles, short stories documenting (fictionally) the world of EVE. Except for the series (e.g. Black Mountain) you can pretty much read them in any order.
Don't forget the short stories :)
Of the top of my head, I don't recall what the final plans are for some sort of Chronicle compendium, sadly :(

Any chance you'd be willing to share some insight regarding the malicious rumors regarding nerfing the already small amounts of ABC ore in wormholes, or possibly the possibility that Sleepers may be "inspecting" pos's of late?

So the promises to...
Completely answer the 'devs answer your questions' in a timely manner... (Grab five buddies and spend a day on this.) The devblog on Faction Warfare promised from fanfest... (Looking at you Soundwave)
...aren't really promises anymore huh? Or, as with most topics regarding informing players, are committments made by CCP simply statements of intention that have absolutely no timeline on them? i.e. you'll tell us you'll do it, but we'll likely quit the game long before you ever actually do it. (inster devblog somewhere between 'soon' after announcement of intention and before 'upcoming great content')
We have a saying in my workplace - if people would work as hard as they do the two weeks prior to vacation, year round, we'd be damn good at what we do. I am so glad CCP doesn't work like they do two weeks before vacation year round - then we'd get an unfinished product all the time that requires significant patching to work, devblogs with empty promises, and lots of fanfare about the next great expansion when the first is still not great...
Oh wait.

Good luck with that. FW has been promised a blog for 4 months in exchange for being blue-balled at fanfest where they "forgot" to even send a Dev ..
Screw supers, everyone knows they are going to change so patch notes should suffice .. rest is just anxiety and asset protection.

Make up your own chronicles in time those too won't make any sense as CCP changes the course of EVE to suit their needs/desires.

Questions about 0.0 balancing, ship balancing and all the rest have been around for weeks now. Some, like faction warfare, hybrid balancing (or Gallente in general) have been around forever. Why the hesitation to give answers for these?
If you don't have a definative answer to these things right now, no big deal - I'm sure there's a lot going on with a new expantion and all. Why not just say so?
The Soon(tm) responce just adds to the frustration and drama. The "we would have answered that, but the only guy who can is gone/on vacation/in china/in the bathroom" responce is even worse tbh. Surely there could be a second person in the company that could give an answer. =============================== Two words: Internet Spaceships |

Aww poor fallout as far i'm aware there is no official statement from CCP about a Chronicle compendium. The only reason all the chronicles stop being developed was due the new huge wikia project where the Rp fairies want to link all chronicles/names/systems and such tru links to the evelopedia so you can browse across pages and more pages of link and more related links tru practically all the EVE fiction written there.

The chronicles added SO SO much to the game it's hard to believe they have been neglected for so long. The eve-universe is so brilliantly hewn-from-stone thanks to being a single shard (almost) with fantastic backstory and gal-net news updates. I'm really surprised to see that they have been shelved so easily. ~~~
