Greetings capsuleers of new Eden.
My name is Kelly, and im looking to see if maybe you can help me.
You see, fresh out of the academy, i wanted to see everything. Everything. New Eden is a hotbed of glorious things and not so glorious things, sights beyond belief and power. Id like to see all these sights before my capsuleer life gets too crazy.
Id like to ask anybody if they can give me a complete list of any system in Empire high security space, that has a noteable landmark in it, so i can visit it in my Tour of New Eden.
Landmarks generally count as noteable locations in space, beacons or spots in the system that have some significance. These include DED combat sites, ruined landmarks, graveyards or anything like that.
Can anybody help me map these landmarks out? I'll try and find a way to pay you back i promise! :)
Thank you! |

My old home has a landmark in it.
Head to Shastal in Devoid, and visit the City of God. It's only a ruin now, but certainly worth checking out! I spent many a night there.

The EVE gate is an obvious pilgrimage to make and something that people from all walks of life can appreciate. The wormhole itself is visible from the New Eden system in Genesis.
It's undeniable that there's something special about that place, no matter what you interpret it to be.

^ This is probably the best way to start or end a tour of the universe. Also, the "City of God" south of the Amarrian Empire is a good thing to see as well. I can't heal stupid

Oh, and I'd also reccomend Ishukone Factory in the Malkalen system, and the CONCORD Beaureau in Yulai system.
They're all of great historical significane to the cluster.

Pator system, ma'am, The Eternal Torch in geo-synchronous orbit of Matar.
Oh, and if you're looking for a great comprehensive tour-guide, then might I suggest this GalNet site, and training for Covert Ops-class frigates and their cloaking technology--some of the best sites are in LoSec or even ZeroSec, and the locals might take exception to you being there; The ability to just disappear helps in such cases.
Also, you might consider training for the use of scan-probes on said CovOps frigates--I have extensively, and being able to find one's own...um...tourist stops...can be quite lucrative (and occasionally exhilarating--or terrifying, depending on how you look at such things, and how prepared you are).
Welcome to the disease, lovely...

Firstly, i have absolutely zero intentions of ever going to pirate a slimeball infested lowsec, or murderous nullsec, ever.
Period.
Secondly, i thank you for those references they have been very helpful.
I'll be planning a full trip around these systems and i'll openly invite anyone to join me.
Thanks :)

The link Tarryn provided to Eve Travel will give you directions and system names for most or all of these places.
While you seem reluctant to go to low or nullsec, I will echo others' statements that many of the best locations are there.
My own wanderings to many of these sites, including this account of my visit to the Mysterious Shuttle in Geztic and the Hyperbole Nexus in Barkrik, both high-sec sites, are detailed here. |

Get yourself a Covert-ops frigate and at least view the Low Sec sites, You are very very very hard to catch in low sec when you have a cloak.
Last time I went to New Eden the system and route there was virtually deserted (you can see by the link the low traffic levels) and there is also The Monolith in dead end. |

How fascinating. IÆve been a capsuleer for years, but havenÆt heard of most of these. I may take a week out from my busy null-sec schedule to visit them all.
Thank you, Ms Dreame, for bringing something so simple, yet something IÆve overlooked for so long, to my attention.

Mr Caine is quite correct. Hopefully, this list of notable sites in the Ani contellation will help you Ms Dreame:
Traun, Reclamation Wreck - The twisted wreckage of a once proud battleship. Sisters Camp - A hospital inside a massive asteroid.
Barkrik, Hyperbole Nexus - A huge abandoned pre-FTL comms array. The Carnival - Once a thriving trade hub. Now a black market dive.
Hjoramold, Lord Bastion - A derelict fortress. The site of an epic siege. Machine Head - A ruined research laboratory.
Uriok, Culture Recess - Abandoned structure of significant political and historical importance. Insurgent Encampment - Still in use, these structures sit within a small asteroid field. Assassins Overhang - A most unusual rock formation surrounded by wreckage.
Inder, Dream Port - An economic and residential area built amongst the asteroids and gas clouds to service the population on Inder VIII. Rich Man's Run - Not altogether a visually attractive site but one with historical significance.
Tvink, The Crystal Dust Compound - An exciting looking asteroid field promising secrets untold. Often frequented by local crime syndicates. Margin of Error - A seedy den for criminal elements and scene for an unusual contest in the past.
Lanngisi, The Asylum - A massive ruined structure. Once a medical facility and now a refugee centre. Sanctum Psychosis - Another large and derelict medical facility. This one, set above Lanngisi VI. A spectacular view.
Nakugard, Reactor Factory - A ruined industrial complex and historical site lit by a very bright gas cloud. The Glass Edge - An almost magical experience. A large structure of historical significance lit by the most extraordinary blue gas cloud.
There are many more sites in the constellation, including some hidden. These are not for the ordinary tourist however and I am certain no InterBus liners dare travel there. A capsuleer with a sense of adventure and a sturdy combat ship can speak with the COSMOS agents and find missions which will take them 'off the beaten track'.

Heres a tip, Caine, on an apolitical thread, its generally considered a social taboo make it political. There are plenty of other threads for that.

Could always go see the results of the successful genocide of the Amarrian.... naw.
Never mind. Too easy.
