I'm a ninja salvager, and the sheer number of NPC wrecks attracted me to those systems. When I got there, there are litterally 10 Navy Issues and Tengus on scan. Checking corps to make sure I wouldn't merely be agressing giant corps, a few things popped up:
1. Several Navy Issues are their default names 2. Most of the tengu's follow a naming pattern (derp, durp, etc) 3. There were at least two character's in corps named after themselves and alone
What do you guys think?

Check out Umokka in Lonetrek. The CNRs there flock like geese migrating. It isn't all that unusual to see them operate in groups of 3 all undocking, aligning and warping simultaneously.
Or in multiples of 3.

I know plenty of guys who run missions in groups, and often fly cnr's/golems/tengus because those are the bear ships of choice.
I'm sure there are plenty of bots around, and common naming patterns often make me suspicious (especially char names like bob1, bob2, bob3 all undocking in mackinaws), but corp/ship/char names are no basis for anything really. Best you can do is follow them, try talking to them etc, and if things are still really suspicious, report them.

They're likely bots, I've seen them there in large numbers when teaching new players to ninja salvage.
Usually its a CNR or Vanilla raven, using a deadspace booster to run a capstable active tank.
If you want to have a bit of fun:
- Scan them down, and warp in with them. - Assess whether it is a bot or not (ship scan helps, as per the above) - Shoot and get aggro from any groups of rats not firing on the Raven, speed tank them a while, let them close in on you. - Warp out, give it a moment. - Warp back in and lock the Raven, watch it's shields. Most try to warp out if they get low. - Bump the Raven to ****ery and stop it escaping - Hope the loot gods favour the brave
Sadly this hardly works, as the bots can perma-tank full aggro usually. Those that can't though, won't have a response and will pop. Look for the younger bots utilizing the deadspace booster tank. If you do it in pairs, one of you can salvage and loot for the ISK, the other can try the bump-to-death trick. Also? I just tricked you into reading my signature. |

After 4.5 years playing, I've been getting bored. I think I just found the most fun thing I'l EVER do in eve. Thank you.

Well i tend to mission in Irjunen when i mission. but yea its a dang raven fest, regular ravens, CNR's and the odd tengu tossed in between. Struck me as abit odd that everybody and their mom was flying navy ravens. So Irjunen has most likely become botters paradise.

Irjunen is packed with bots. I think they migrated there from Tintoh after the mission agent patch, probably running from the constant ninja that goes on in and around Tintoh.
Hi there Tintoh carebears...we're scanning you now. Can we have your stuff?
