Edited by: Myrnin on 27/07/2011 18:20:38 I've used Excel before, but hear there is a program called "OpenOffice" that does as much, and you might run for free. What parameters are you going to track?

Edited by: Myrnin on 29/07/2011 01:16:42 ah there is help on that, and if you play eve you should ba able to pick it up rather quick, autosum is on the menu bar usually, and you select that and then highlight the area you want to add. or one simple formula (always starts with =) is =sum(c3:c45) would add up the items in the C column from row 3 to 45. two tips, always name the first row of a table, and connect all the names so each column is filled, don't skip rows as you fill in common data. This will insure that your data can be dealt with by the program without losing track of who's payment belongs to which corp. common names for the first row: CorpName, Month, members, isk, system... and keep columns the same type of data, names are text, numbers are numbers, if it's an isk column then enter 0 for none paid, that way you dont get errors when you do the math on it. any thing you like to track, and afterward you could report on who paid and how much collected in june for example.. but that's just a simple idea. Go in the direction you see fit.
also there is help on the simple to the most complex functions. In no time, you'll be charting and pivot tabling data all over the place... oh wait sorry, got carried away... Good luck

The API is outside of my area. Sorry. I've looked at a few commands for the importing of data, but have not used them. There are parameters that locate the information you need, but Ihavn't done any of that. I think the begining of the command in excel looks like: importXML(###) but I am not even sure about that.
