Edited by: Kei Darker on 28/07/2011 03:57:43 Ladies and Gentlemen, Bond 6 is finished a couple of days early - but I'm not wasting any time moving into the next venture.
This Bond, my 7th - will be slightly different than my previous bonds.
1. This bond will contain no collateralized portion. - In the past, my bonds have all been hybrid collateralized/non-collateralized bonds, with some portion of each bond collateralized and some portion not collateralized. I'm not going that route this time, but may (and most likely will) go back to collateralized hybrids in the future.
2. My interest rates are decreasing. - I had planned to decrease my rates with bond 6, but decided to offer the 6th bond at the rates of my previous bonds: 5% for collateralized portion and 10% for uncollateralized portion. The reason I am lowering the rates a bit is simple. I really don't need to offer 10% - and this is a business after all, so I'll save costs where I can. 7% is still more than reasonable.
3. My total bond asking value is decreasing from 12B for bond 6 to 7B for bond 7. The main reason for this is that I am moving this month. I am relocating to a few states away for a job. I don't want to deal with a very large amount of ISK during this upcoming month. I don't foresee any problems easily producing 7% with 7 Billion. The total bond value is of course also lowered because I am not collateralizing any portion of the bond, as I usually do.
This bond will run until September 1st.
I am currently accepting investors. I am not offering reserved slots on this offering (sorry previous investors, I'll give you first dibs again on a future bond).
See my previous bonds if you are interested in how I run things. - Station trading, regional trading, occasional hauling, occasional manufacturing. You know - Indy stuff. I deal mostly in ships and big expensive things.
Available: 7 Billion
Investors: (This could be you)
The one thing that will not change is that I will provide at least a few updates. In bond 6, I didn't do as many as I'd normally like to - but at least there were a couple of updates. I'll continue to provide updates and my own little bit of insight with this bond.
Thanks mates, Kei

How about a performance audit to confirm the success of your previous bond(s)?

*Shakes fist!
Would have liked to grab a piece of this but if certain people are going to be selfish ...
A performance audit would be good in the longer term but is probably not a priority for this bond as it is the same size as the uncollateralised portion of the last one. I could confirm the builds that were done from the locked down prints in the last bond though.

Thanks for taking the bond, Flakeys.
RAW, I'll catch you on the next one.
As for this one, I'll happily include updates. It can be fun to write about what is going on if there is anything interesting happening. I like to do things at least a tiny bit different between bonds - so we'll see what I can come up with for this month.
Flakeys: Summary Total investment: 7 Billion ISK Total Payout: 7.5 Billion ISK (I'll throw in the extra 10M to get the even 7.5 instead of 7.49) September 1st Maturity Weekly updates
As for a performance audit - I don't think it's really time for one again yet. I think my bond 5 had one and as RAW said, my uncollateralized amount is hardly going up with this one. No worries though, I'd be happy to have another performance audit within the next few months.

Alrighty, I promised updates!
Here's the first one!
So for this bond, I had been thinking about trying to put more effort into manufacturing, using jump clones, and rather than strictly using regional orders or strictly station trading (both of which have been done in separate previous bonds), I would try to do a mixture of both.
So far, I haven't been able to do ANY manufacturing - I'm still waiting for my collateral back from Bond 6. ...
As for using jump clones, it turns out that it's much easier and probably more profitable to just stick to one place with this amount of ISK. I had orders up in two hubs, regional and station, but this strategy would work better with more ISK, probably about double what this bond is for would be appropriate.
That plan was quickly scrubbed, and I am currently operating within a single hub again. I've had a significant amount of time to perform trading as compared with bond 5 (when I had the least time), and possibly slightly more time to trade than in bond 6, so with this amount of ISK, I have been focusing mostly on station trading again - with less regional trading than usual.
The usual items are successful, but I've found particular success with improved implants this week. Overall, profits have been great. I did have some expenses - I needed to replace three +5 implants over the week. Fortunately, the bond is pulling in a little over 100M per day.
In other news, I am making a RL move tomorrow for a new job. I anticipate no loss in internet connection or availability for trading (should actually have more time than over the past couple months).
Anyways... all is good! I'll see you back again in about a week.
Thanks again Flakey's for the invest. I hope you enjoy this public report.

Thanks for the update there.
On a sidenote tried using an alt for that 2nd hub?Usually when i do more then one region/hub i place an alt there and depending on what's needed decide if the alt needs to be one of the tradeskilled alts or just any alt.Either that or choose a hub that's rather close. Jita-amarr for instance is even with a freighter a stonethrow away.
Even with jumpclones it's a pain with the 24 hour restriction.Found that out quite soon when i covered more regions in the old days.
Good luck with the rl move and hush hush about the connection , allways bad kharma to talk about it

Well, good news about the connection actually. My landlord owns the local internet company. Convenient. Tehehe. The trading continues! I'll be back with a proper update in a few days.

Week 3ish update!?
So when I said I would be doing a proper update in a few days, I of course actually meant I would have a proper update 9 days after that post. That of course is today! So I'm back with an update.
Truth is, I haven't been working too hard at making profit this week, so the increase in bond value is fairly low. However, the good news is that I'm already past the point of paying things back (unless the market completely tanks on everything by a lot... so that won't happen, it's not like we're talking about the DOW here....).
This week and the past week, I continue to trade in ships and other stuffs. Particularly, I suppose you could say I made a large percentage of my profits in implants again. Implants are nice. I'm growing to like them almost as much as ships.
I just ran the numbers for the week, and the weekly profits are roughly 5%. Lower than I'd like. But what can I expect when I sometimes go more than 32 hours without updating orders! I guess I can expect to see weekly profits of roughly 5%. Oh well. It happens. Things are still moving strong and the ISK is still rolling in.
I finally got my BPOs back from my previous bond, so I'll have to get manufacturing. I think I'll go check my spreadsheets now and see if that's a profitable decision at the moment. Let's find out. :)
See you all in a week or so. Well, probably sooner really. I promised some previous investors I'd give them a headsup on my next bond, so I should probably start planning.

Final update and payout!
And it's that time of the month again. Time for me to pay out a bond and then talk about it a little, most likely boring people, but possibly interesting a few as well.
Bond 7 was successful. Overall, profit was decent. A real life move complicated things a little bit, but everything turned out fine and I am now ready to get back into the swing of things with larger bonds again, to include collateralized portions. More information on Bond 8 will be posted shortly in a separate thread.
As usual, I traded in ships for this entire bond, dabbling in implants and hardwiring as well. I focused mostly on station trading, as opposed to the mix of station trading and regional orders that I have done in the past. I refrained from manufacturing, as I have found that so far my resources are doing much better being invested in the market as compared to manufacturing the ships that I own BPOs for.
I dabbled in other hubs during this bond, which led to some success. I will likely expand those experiments in the future.
I'm currently paying out the bond for a total bond value of 7 500 000 000 ISK, 10 million more than the 7% promised, but that just gives a nice even number. The bond has now been paid out. Thank you to Flakeys for participating and taking the entire bond. Please do confirm your receipt of the funds :)
I'll see all of you shortly with a bond 8 offering.
