now i know there already developing 2 other games but there going to be released soonish.
now i have a idea and its fairly well structured with most of the ideas compleate, but i am unsure how i would present this idea to ccp as i would not like to post it on the forums as its that compleate. I currently live in iceland, so i was wondering if the best way was to simply try and type it up and present it that way with a appointment or am i thinking about this in the wrong way?
plz note that the mmo would interact with the eve-online universe much in a similer way to dust.

Check your local directories, or CCP's Homepage to contact them and ask for an interview would be your best way. Saying that, you do know that anyone can have a cool idea, but you have to prove it will work to some degree or managible as a project.
I work with Designers and everyone has a thousand ideas, doesnt mean any will get off the ground, but hey who knows, you might have something awesome and whats the harm other than your ego getting brused.
Other than that, i highly suspect they already have new projects in the pipe after Dust and WoD, so dont hold your breath for a new seperate Game in the EvE 'verse.

oh i fully understand the chances of getting the idea off the ground are slim at the best, what i have tryed to do tho is make it unlike any other mmo around with the idea of attracting the diseffected wow market, but at the same time keeping it in context with the eve online universe while trying to add a interactive key points between the 2 games possible more so that dust.

Reality check. Marketing a product that doesn't exist. Selling an "idea" and keeping the rights to it...you need to be in Hollywood. That's their business model.

My suggestion is polish the written idea a bit more than you did this post. Despite all the counter-culture tendency to be lazy and leave out things like capitalization, punctuation and proper spelling, those things DO count.
First impressions matter.
Good luck :) |

I think the best options for you are:
- weirdly stalking every person that leaves or enters the CCP HQ in disguise.
- Keep telephoning the office and ask for the CEO, every day
- Send letters to CCP explaning you have a marvelous idea, make sure your letters are "written" with letter you cut out of a magazine.
- Send inapropriate songs, poems and underwear to CCP HQ
Or you can just post your idea on the ideas forum. - Hilmar getur ekki tala= vi= ¦ig n·na, hann er a= fara ß japanska Tfskuverslun.

If you are truly serious, I'd suggest copyrighting (assuming Iceland has such a thing, or some equivalent) your idea first. Maybe even submit it via an intellectual property attorney. Of course, Cair's idea is much better. He put... creatures... in our bodies... to control our minds. He made us... say lies... do things. |

Just remember that "if it looks good - it is good" ;) --- This is one of the moments where we look at what CCP does and less of what they say. Innovation takes time to set in and the predictable reaction is always to resist change |

Check out an example of the depth of ideas that are already here in the forums:
great idea
This particular one is for improving EVE as it stands, rather than a new MMO.
I hope to see something similar from you. Features and Ideas is probably where it should go but very few reads there.
