But lets say for arguments sake that CCP DIDN'T know what needed fixing and take this a a definitive list. Where to from here? What commitments will you make and will you specify a timeframe?
I won't hold my breath

Edited by: XIRUSPHERE on 01/08/2011 16:24:21 That is pretty sad, but if fixing docking games is top priority they need to fix people being able to scoop ships with agression of any form to carriers and orcas cause it really is pathetic.

Medals and slightly faster character swaps and nothing about orca/carrier hotswapping for 100% risk free pvp
This list proves that the people of New Eden are still complete morons.

People who can't afford a monocle?
I can see wanting to recognize achievements, etc to make the game more rewarding for people, recognition etc but honestly I don't get how so many people thought it was more important than many other things.

Perhaps next time we have more voters to carry their share to the pile. At least this time the crowsourcing was announced both in game and in eveonline frontpage. Not too many actually have bothered to vote still.
So in short - we are in the mercy of those who did... and medals shall we have (soonTM) :) --- This is one of the moments where we look at what CCP does and less of what they say. Innovation takes time to set in and the predictable reaction is always to resist change |

Nothing about changing subs in a POS either? Nothing about about being able to assemble T3's in a hole?
Proof the majority will vote for stupid ****.

All that list represents is "what people who don't realize that their vote doesn't matter voted for." If people who knew that their vote didn't matter voted anyway, it'd look completely different.
Would be interesting to poll the account age of the voters... I'd be willing to bet nearly none of them are over 6 months.

#9 is a thing, I guess I could see how maybe some people could care about that in a way.
Everything else listed is alright.

Erm, didn't the page say that approximately 4500 votes were tallied out of how many hundreds of thousands of active subscriptions there are in the game?
We only have ourselves to blame, and I include myself in that, because I did not vote.
On another note, when Warhammer first came out, regardless of its... terrible failure, they had an in-your-face feedback system that would literally pop up and splash your whole screen. Now while that <<< is a little invasive, perhaps CCP should consider alternating between those EVE ads on the logon screen and some sort of "Wanna fill out a game feedback survey?" page between authentication and character screen that would sample 50k subscribers at a time time every week or two?
Just saying... I would find it irritating, BUT I am sure I would fill it out at least on one account when I came across them.

Um... you've never seen the kinds of survey questions CCP puts out... "we are A) awesome B) radical or C) kickass." The questions they ask all come from the attitude "we're right, you're wrong, and if you don't like it, get out of the game we never actually play."
