Flux is Brock Nelson's corp and Brock scammed MD investors for c. 30bil not long ago.

When you said the response to the WH trade scam accusations was a little bit up the page did you mean this?

edit: and with the last announced investor I can say that I almost reached my quota so any so-called scammer would have just bailed when the trail got hot and move on with his or her life; but I'll still be here for a lot while because now I hold some personal grudges and I'm not planning to leave until the necessary amount of face-rubbing has been performed to satisfy my hurt ego;
I can't help but read this as 'Im so close why would I stop now?'

Edited by: Coffe''s Babe on 08/08/2011 16:12:44 Feel free to read it any way you like. For all intents and purposes I hold my ground. Maybe in my 3rd offering I'll fully collateralize it, depending on what I might make now. Why does everyone have to speculate only dark times?
@Raw - it's the first time I hear about that corp and it's doings. It didn't even stick to my memory when I looked over the corp jumps that happened when the char was out of my hands. Though I personally joined a corp for 3 hours and killed an orca once. If you scuffle through the my killmails you are bound to find it; i'm not willing to invest time in this Maybe it's them, maybe it's not - if the latter, it was not me.

Scared that after the digging going on someone's bound to find the nature of the beast?
You sure know how to ease the worried mind of investors ...
Here's a linky for that one , it was in flux tech even for the lasy guys/gals
either this is the 2nd time you did that in flux or flux seems to attract corpkillers with an appetite for orca :)

No I don't. Because if you do then you're a carebear and we're playing the internet spaceships game, not the you got mugged in real life game. There's no prison in EvE. And nobody forces you to do business with someone that enjoys blowing orcas up. Grow up.

Given that you have admitted to scamming in wormhole trades and you have now been shown to be willing to abuse peoples' trust for your personal ends at their expense through killing your corpmates (ironically, this removes the problem of having been a member of Flux but replaces it with a new and bigger problem) you fall squarely under the rubric of 'scammer'. Hopefully anyone who has sent you isk will get it back but I think the chances of you ever raising more isk than you currently have is pretty much zero.

wow
The ability of this subforum to muck around with bs in nauseating detail never ceases to amaze me.
1) He accidentally posted this same thread with an alt, and then proceeded to erase it. 2) On looking at this alt's posting history, we find evidence that he has used this alt (and another one as well, but that's superfluous to our needs here) to build a false reputation as a trustworthy WH seller.
That's it. That's all there is to it and that's all you need.
Anyone who invests their money after such clear evidence of blatant deception in terms of public trust is an idiot (more so even than the average person who gives spacemoney to strangers on a scam-riddled forum). This is of course ignoring the fact that he has continued to deny the connection despite the blatant obviousness, thereby making it even worse.
I'd also add that you have a nice list of obvious alt investors here that you can use to root out other potential existing or future scams, but the general intelligence level of this forum doesn't give me much hope that this would be pursued.
I do appreciate that the OP seems committed to going balls deep on this one, and I hope that his ludicrous spinning and internet rage continue to amuse.

Personally, I think that corpkilling is far more decisive than alt claims (extremely persuasive as those are) because it can be definitively established as being the case. Taking stuff about alts too absolutely runs a serious risk of making it easy to grief someone by pretending to be their alt(s).

I am a tigerras alt....crap wrong character.
But seriously, I'm a little worried. I get to join the bittervet clubvand found what elise was talking about...I feel a ritual involving a goat is in my near future...unless the md cult uses some other method.
And the alt dicussion is pointless...we are all chribba's alts anyway, living out a severe case of multiple personality disorder.

A quick look at the timing involved should dismiss any suspicion of such maliciousness in the vast majority of cases. The idea that someone would pretend to alt-post in preparation to assassinate someone's character on the off chance they decide to put themselves out as publicly trustworthy at some point in the future is beyond farcical.

Unfortunately for you, you've already jumped the gun with this character with your completely ridiculous auditing attempt, thereby ruining it forever, regardless of the advances you personally make in understanding the perverted subculture that is the MD subforum.
I would suggest creating a clean character ASAP and building a reasonable background for it while continuing to gain valuable understanding while posting on your current character. Then when you have achieved an adequate balancing of character cooking and MD knowledge, I would switch to the new clean character and build up the requisite reputation for whatever your longterm scam goal is.
Best of luck.

Uhm , if you need to join a corp to blow up an orca THEN you are a true carebear to start off with otherwise you'd had the balls to at least make an effort and take a risk for a kill.Hell mining in a hulk in 1.0 is risking more and less carebear then what you did there.
Now that aside purely speeking from an investors point since that is what this is about. You are here to ask isk from people you don't know , that killmail shows how you treat people who give you a chance and show faith in you and THAT is what should kill your whole deal.It is not about me saying you should be banned from eve for killing your own it is using common sence when investing and basically investing in any goon would seem more secure to me at this point.

That's true of the investment alt posts but those are the least damning. The alt thread is both more damning and more plausibly faked since it came after he had already run a public bond. The chances of it being faked seem very small but I certainly wouldn't rule out the possibility that there are members of the eve community who would take great pleasure in doing something like that.

If anyone wants to invest in a known corpgriefer with your next offering then i don't give a **** any more if they do or don't get their isk back.
And if you wanted to point and laugh as you describe above then make it a higher uncollateralised offer.Making it a pure collateralised one does not proove your point but ours.

Of course.
Fortunately in this case we need only make the assumption that our theoretical saboteur cannot also read minds and/or the future, and we have our case.

Or I could just kee the character I started playing eve with and add this as one more spect to her.
Scamming doesn't interest me. I'm far more interested in exploring aspects of this game than I am in exploiting the trust of others.

I'll stop by to say "I told you so" when your bond or whatever you try in about 2 months or so fails miserably. Alternatively, if you've decided to take my advice and are just covering, then you're welcome.

Scamming is a great way to make money if you are new to the game. I can't count the number of Goonswarm newbies who, brand new to the game, make a couple of billion ISK off of recruitment scams their first few weeks playing. But there comes a point where it is literally less effort and far greater reward to simply invest ISK in the legitimate offerings that one can find. The problem with these two facts is that one has to choose between the two, and may not be aware of the latter until having already engaged in the former.

This modus operandi isn't at all familiar from the WH selling thread.
Although I liked the part where you offered to invest in someone else for a nice large amount. Especially given that it was already full, there wasn't likely to be any drop-outs and even if there was one, there was already someone else reserved before you.
