Edited by: rj skeet on 12/08/2011 06:03:08 i live at a pos and every time my ship gets damaged i risk being camped in a station by my corps war decors or i have to go out of my pos shield and eject and rep the first shipin a second so y cant they make a repair facility like the ones they have in missions

Use a ship maintenance array and have an armor repair and a hull repair.
Step 1. Use the fitting service to fit the modules you need. Step 2. Turn on the modules. Step 3. Let them run until you are fully repaired. Step 4. Use the fitting service again to refit your normal fit. Step 5. Save money because you didn't pay for repairs.

I've used a small local hull repper to repair an Orca after narrowly escaping. It took a very long time to repair the hull.
This event inspired me to keep a wide and numerous selection of hull, armor, and shield reps at the POS, both local and remote, in case stuff happens (it usually does). Also comes in handy when shield tanking and changing ships. Don't forget extra nanite paste.
My non-Logistics alt has spent a lot of time sitting outside the forcefield in a Hurricane fitted with one large remote hull repper and one large remote armor repper, and a lot of capacitor rechargers/relays.
