Hi everyone,
I was wondering about the thresholds for my player corp standings to allow me to unlock lvl4's. My personal standings with this agent and NPC corp are neutral (0.00 and 0.31) but my corp's standings are high 7.24. At the moment the agent wont speak to me.
I was wondering if the corp standings ALONE is enough for me to unlock the lvl4 agent? And if so what standing do I need?

Agents only look at personal standings, not player corporation standings. Agents will accept standings modified by Social skills.
Your personal standings to access level 2 and higher agents must have Faction standing above -2.00 with a specific amount of Corporation standing.
Level 1 = always available Level 2 = +1.00 standing Level 3 = +3.00 standing Level 4 = +5.00 standing Level 5 = +7.00 standing

Edited by: Cyniac on 12/08/2011 15:00:48 I can confirm that in order to access agents your corporation's standings are irrelevant. Only your personal standings matter.
Your corporation's standings are however used to get access to jump clones for instance - which may be where the confusion comes from. Not sure about the effects on refining and market fees though.

If you are talking about two characters on the same account - then yes.
If you are talking about two separate accounts you can just get the one with the standings to accept the mission and then you can go out and get on with it - share the resulting standing increase at the end and it makes for a faster process.

Corp standings are not used for refining.

Super Sage, only three types of standing matter when it comes to availability of agents: Your standing with an agent, your standing with a corporation, and your standing with a faction. If your agent standing is high enough with a particular agent then they you will be able to access their level 4 missions but will not be able to access level 4 missions from a different agent from the same corporation if your standing with that agent is to low. If your standings with a certain corp are high enough you will be able to access level 4 missions from any level 4 agent in that corp. If your faction standings are high enough, then you can access level 4 missions from any corporation that belong to that faction. Most missions runners like to grind up their faction standing as it allows them to pick level 4 missions from any corporation in their faction space without worrying about the other two standings. This was also used to "cherry pick" your missions as declining 15-20 missions only dropped you factional standing about .01 (as compared as to the huge hit agent and corp standing normally take), but I think they increased the factional standing hit from declining missions now. Maybe another poster here could confirm/deny this? Hope this helps
