At the moment, I have 63 days left on my int/mem remap for what I have planned. I know I still have 2 months, however, I would just like to make sure I am not missing any skills that should be trained.
I am trying to get into PvP (computer is broken, so no actual playing for the past couple of weeks or so). From what I can tell from the Corp I joined, a lot of it will be fleet PvP. As for the skills I have planned now, I thought I would get the skills required for T2 ships as well as better tanking skills (seems as though once I train AWU 5, this would also give me Core Comp Elite)
Planned: Shield Compensation III Kinetic Shield Compensation III Thermic Shield Compensation IV EM Shield Compensation IV Explosive Shield Compensation IV Shield Compensation IV Kinetic Shield Compensation IV Electronics Upgrades V Energy Grid Upgrades V Long Range Targeting V Shield Upgrades V Evasive Maneuvering V Shield Compensation V Energy Management V Shield Management V

Off the top of my head:
Armor comps are actually more important than shield comps, and you will be armor tanking once in awhile flying Minmatar. Consider taking those to 4.
Salvaging 4 never hurt anyone; 5 probably isn't needed.
Rigging skills: train them. It's convenient to be able to fit your own T2 rigs, and reducing drawbacks can be huge. For Minmatar, I'd at least take Jury Rigging, Armor Rigging, Projectile Rigging, and Shield Rigging to 4.
That's what I see at a glance at least.

Would any of the wear skills be useful to have? It seems as though prop jamming is all I need though. Just thought id ask

I've been debating whether to pick up the EWAR skills on my first int/mem mapping myself. They look like they may be needed to fly a recon ship "effectively" but they seem like skills you would use all the time (i.e. you are an EWAR specialist) or very rarely.
Other skills you may want are nanite operation and control (nanite paste) and biology (boosters). There is also a skill that decreases the side effects of boosters, but the skill book costs around 160-200 million isk.
Oh, and of course thermodynamics to go along with your nanite paste.

I'm just not sure I'll run missions enough for multiple corps for it to be worth it. Went ahead and added some exploration skills as well. And, just to be on the safe side (for possibly cross training), I put all rigging skills in plan. Not a huge time loss considering I would like to cross-train somewhere along the road.
It "appears" I have most of the skills now. However, I'll still be looking Thanks so far guys!

Edited by: Ryuce on 14/08/2011 08:41:14 Booster related skills like biology. Drone skills? Sub system skills, if you'll be using T3's in missions or PVP - take them to V. They have nice boosts and V is only a few days of training. Get remote repair systems to atleast IV. Electronic warfare to IV to unlock e-war drones, ECCM and the skill Electronic Warfare Drone Interfacing - Consider whether you'll be needing any of the other e-war related skills too.

Its worth training the pre-reqs for the T2 EWAR skills from the start, even if you don't train the T2 skill itself at that point.
Eg train Target Painting to 4 but don't train Signature Focusing to 4 (or at all really) until you are using the mods a lot. Edit - if you have the pre-reqs then its only a couple of days once you decide you want the T2 mod/extra bonuses.
